I was a 12 year old in the tunnel with the Rowdies getting ready to storm the court. This might've saved me from potentially getting trampled, but the pain of this moment is way worse than whatever pain would've come with getting trampled. Side note: Cedric Middleton spent countless hours shooting free throws in the gym following this moment. He use to coach me in private basketball lessons, and he would mention how much that missed free throws pushed him to be better going forward. Wood, Cedric, Rome, Dru, Linhart, etc. - one of the most deserving groups of guys that never got their One Shining Moment.
