Who on here is on campus for classes regularly?If I was, I would go to the student center and snap a pic of that stadium from the same spot several times per week.

Why is it so hard to drink around campus and not drive?IF you wanna have a good time out, then figure out a way to do it without getting a DUI.You'd think people would have this crap sorted out by now.

I think we can all agree that it's not good to rest on your laurels and hope to continue being profitable without improving (because your competitors will endeavor to improve themselves), but how aggressive should your growth be?Perhaps, after the Stadium, it should be time for the University to sit back and focus on profitable operations to pay off some of that debt before progressing in the future with more a grandiose vision.I think that's possible, but I think there is probably still one obstacle to continued growth, and that's a lack of room for increased on-campus residency.

I was pissed last night but I'm over it now.BTW, the zips did play poor, but that's after the psychological red flag was raised for the zips by the refs, and Can't knew they had a green flag. If you are asking about some of the intangibles and non-measurable qualities, one thing that comes strongly into my mind is the fact that he was not just the primary receiver this year, but much of the time it seemed he was the only guy on the field we would throw the ball to, and this happened not just in some games, but all throughout the season. Teams knew the ball was going to him on a pass play, and yet Jabari would not be daunted. He wanted the ball, and I recall him receiving many of them over the middle. He wasn't a guy thrust reluctantly into a key role.... He shined there.

I like that,g-mann, but it sorta sounds like you wanna reorganize conferences. :blink: But I definitely think that 8 teams is too few.I think the only reason they propose 8 teams is because the season is too long already.But I think that only 8 teams promotes perennial elitism.I think that the top 24 teams should go.Shorten the regular season requirement by one game.The top 8 teams get a first week bye.So, there would be 8 games the first week.8 games the second week.4 games the third week2 games the fourth week.and then the national championship game.Probably the biggest reason this would not fly is because the big conferences cling to their lucrative bowls. haha, you know what's funny about that is I was thinking along those lines when watching the game and hearing the fans try to do that OH - IO thing during the game where they were drown out, and all I could think was "No one cares if you know how to spell your four letter state"

If the Columbus team did not seem to get blatantly more coverage in our town then the hometown team which seems to get nearly none, I don't think there would be the laden animus. As I said, I was rooting for OSU when the game started, but I honestly was not broken up at all when they lost. Not at all. But even though they lost, the fact that they made it to the national championship game (again) means that we will have to deal with more and more mindless sports reporters/writers embedding themselves in columbus and pretending that nothing else exists in the region except them and the pro teams.

Why? Did we win our bowl game or something?Again, I don't understand quite how an OSU loss means so much here. In the past 3 years, they've won their conference 2 more times than we ever have. They scored almost 7 times as many points on us (20) as we gained first downs on them (3). Off the top of their heads, most people can name you 10 times as many OSU players playing on Sunday than they can Zips. They have played for the national title the past 2 years, and we've played for what? Perhaps we should keep the board to talking about how to better our own program before we celebrate a loss of a bigger, more established school.....or....... we could do both.
