Blue & Gold

Absolutely! Naturally, I get all excited about the skill position players, but the game's won & lost in the trenches!

Looks like I'm going to have to refine my working definition of "athlete."

Versus the Akron Football twitter feed as of 9:50 a.m.: UA Football twitter

Here's an Unpopular Opinion & I hope I'm not eaten by my own for expressing it: The problem isn't really Milwee's play calling. The problem is that the OL couldn't run block. At all. Just throwing that out there because I think if the OL could run block even a smidgeon, it would have made the play calling look a lot better.

Exactly. This is like Christmas morning - or a wedding day - to these young guys. Today is THE big deal. Look at Western Michigan's twitter: https://twitter.com/WMU_Football?lang=en Bowl game should have ZERO to do with this. A week or two ago UA should have had a tweet ready to go for every recruit so today they could just have some intern (or even the janitor) tweet it out when we receive the LOI. I'm certainly absolutely positive they will do this. There is absolutely positively no way conceivable that they wouldn't. Right? :/ (Btw, I know Gavin Blunt isn't signing till 2:30 this afternoon.)

Good find!! I know Jest will be back on campus in January. I suppose he'll participate in spring ball.

Link? Who's recruiting these guys for them?

Anyone know if there is going to be any Early Signing Day coverage on GoZips.com?

Miami Herald: High school star (Kato Nelson) coming home in hopes of leading a major upset at Boca Raton Bowl

Hmm... according to Rivals dot com and 247Sports dot com we're Lyle's only D-1 offer?

ABJ: Injuries to top running backs have put freshman quarterback Kato Nelson in the spotlight

That was a highly unusual and highly annoying year

ABJ: Officially the starting quarterback and playing near home, Kato Nelso ready to lead Zips Looks like GT has a little repository of articles he wrote prior to going on vacation.

I like the FAU fellas here. They seem pretty cool & it's making me more excited for the game.

Click the link and what do ya know? A human interest story. How novel. Why, O why, have we been cursed with the bush league Akron Beacon Journal?

This was mentioned in another thread, but I'll reiterate here, Gavin was named 1st-Team All-Ohio D-2 at safety for a second consecutive year.

This is where I'm at in my thinking. I'm just having fun thus far watching our chemistry develop and watching a new system. Man, are we athletic! Next year, good grief watch out!

Today he was giddily lighting up twitter about the Cleveland Browns :/
