If we go with one of our freshmen QB's the Wagon Wheel Game is a tough week for a freshman to get his first start. I still think we're only an average QB away from being .500. But that doesn't take the blame off the staff's shoulders, as it's their responsibility to make sure we've got that average QB on the roster.

So tired of losing and even more tired of the excuses year after year after year after year. I can hardly wait til Kent rolls us to hear what the excuses will be. Kobe Johnson scored 32 points last night as Walsh upset D1 Oakland. Good job, Kobe! It's good he's found a level where he can excel, but what raises my eyebrow is that he did this against a D1 team. Every time he was on the floor with the Zips he looked like a deer in headlights and as if the defenders were just a little bit too quick for him & made him rush his shot just a bit too much.

With our new affiliation with the Big East Conference, I was hoping to see 1 or 2 BE games on the schedule. Maybe in future years as we build relationships w/ the schools in the conference?

Anyone on here have any inside information on why Hoban's Jonas Nichols chose KSUcks over us? Most of the time when a local b-ball recruit chooses KSUcks over us I just shrug pretty much knowing it's due to us not actually recruiting said player very hard... but losing out on Nichols was actually quite disappointing (to me).
