  1. I plan on watching at a place known as "The Horseshoe" in Columbus. I hear it gets pretty crowded and I'll probably have seats that don't face the TV......bummer.
Woot. That's where I'll be. Here's to me not getting my ass kicked and set on fire after the Zips win.
  2. West 3rd lot it is. I might not be there as early as 7, but when you show up, I'll probably already be there. See everyone then! Look for the gray Ford Escape with the Fear the Roo flag flying high and the obnoxiously loud tunes (which may or may not include bluegrass). We're also looking at hooking up the PS2.

  3.  i got it, we form a travelling tailgating party....move from THE PIT to the Upper MALL C LOT to the MUNI LOT....and back again.....those who stumble or cant keep up can root for Army
I've done that at a Browns game. You'd actually be surprised how kind police officers are to 2 drunk dudes trying to find another tailgate party on game day.On a side note...According to that map, I was planning on being in the West 3rd Street Parking Lot...**NOT THE PORT AUTHORITY** Anyone else, let me know where you think the biggest party will be and I'll relocate my crew over there. There will probably be at least 10 of us.
Bleach Bum...I thought that parking lot down the hill was the port authority...I know there is also port authority lots to the north of the stadium too....but hey, I could be wrong! I think we're thinking of the same place, just calling it different names. ;)
Gotchya! That's where I'll be! Anyone else thinking 7AM is too early? I like a good 12 hours to get down.

  5. Before I even read any posts in this thread, the two that popped right into my head were the Marshall comeback and the Can't game. Amazingly, I didn't stay for the entire game either time. My brother was really sick with the flu for the Marshall game and he made us leave early. I remember pounding on the bathrrom door as he was throwing up screaming at him to get his ass in the family room and watch what he made me miss.Leaving the Can't game early was the result of beginning tailgating at 7 AM in the frigid temperatures. And go figure, we couldn't even find a bar to watch the game at on Thanksgiving.Maybe I should just plan on leaving early every game. Also, an honorable mention for a memory at the Rubber Bowl...wasn't there a dollar beer night last year? Maybe that's not a memory. And if it is, it's still a little hazy.

  6. I think it's technically sponsored by the Cleveland Athletic Commission or something like that, I'm probably wrong. But the way I've been hearing it lately is that it is NOT a home game for the Zips. It's a "Bowl-type" game at a neutral site. It just so happens Akron is about 30 minutes from Cleveland. I guess we should just be glad the game is included in our season ticket packages since apparently it's not a home game anymore.

  7. Our four seats are in 119 (Dawg Pound) as well ... and yes, we'll probably be taking a stroll to check out the view from other seating locations (no offense Bleacher).
Haha...None taken. Although since I plan on partying in the Muni lot for at least 8 hours before the game, there's a good possibility I may never even make it into the stadium.
  8. Well, I'm excited. I am now officially a "season ticket holder." Wow, that sounds nice. Here's everything enclosed...Tickets to all four games at the Rubber Bowl (General Admission)Ticket for the Army game at Browns Stadium (Section 119 - Dawg Pound)Ticket for the OSU game (Section 35A - Middle Corner Endzone at the open end)Roo Town stickerCoupon for a free Fear the Roo seat cushionScheduleAdvertisementsI'm curious to know where other season ticket holders seats are located for the Army and OSU games since I bought mine by myself. It'd be nice to be with other Zips fans that I recognize.

  9. I was not referring to Charlie or the Browns QB situation. I was referring to all professional sports in general lately. This past week alone we've dealt with a hot sh*t QB involved in dog fighting, a legendary homerun record that will be tainted, and an NBA referee who is accused of betting on games he officiated. Everything is corrupt now. It's not even fun to watch anymore. I see more excitement in going to a local little league game because its more about the game and having fun than it is about anything else. Call me old fashioned.
