I would love to meet the young lady who started off that thread by predicting wins over Penn State and Marshall and losses to Can't State and Buffalo. She has a quality I treasure in a female.
Getting back on topic.............
I think we should schedule all the Big Ten teams to play us in Akron. If any of them want us to play at their place, we should if they are willing to do a 2 for 1 deal.
While watching Mark Emmert, head NCAA guy, hand down sanctions yesterday I couldn't help but notice that beautiful hair. How this guy isn't a U.S. Congressman is beyond me. He looks exactly like 80% of them.
Congratulations to the Zips who as of 9:10 this morning are undefeated against PSU since 1998.
Also Congrats to TB's dad, Bobby, on becoming the winniningest DI football coach of all time at exactly the same instant.
I'll bet the Capt has an opinion on whats it saying if a QB "that has never had success" and a freshman QB can come in and beat out our starter from last year who, in turn, beat out our previous starting QB?
19 tournaments
146 teams
2 MAC teams (BG one of the 12 teams in the preseason NIT field not detailed in the article)
The last # seems a bit underwhelming.
Clevenger was on your original list of additions, now he's listed as a loss.
The kid obviously didn't know whether he was coming or going.
We will miss you Jonathan.
We have just taken another step up the ambition ladder.
I notice that Virginia Tech has us playing at their place on 9/12/15, the same date our schedule has us hosting Pittsburgh. Does anyone know what time both games start? I assume one is a day game and the other an evening tilt. I'm not sure we will have the program built up to the point where we can play a split squad that day.
That's another problem we've had the last couple of years; QBs throwing the ball in the pocket. We need a QB who can throw from the pocket to one of our team's eligible receivers who is outside the pocket.
My favorite passage............
The closest Denzell Burton had ever come to grocery shopping was running into the convenience store closest to his Cleveland home to grab soda for his mother. Some of them night clerks had pretty good speed, so running out faster than I ran in was important. I always made sure my drawers was hiked up and I never lifted more than a 12 pack at one time.
