I'm believe you may be correct. Of course we still don't have anyone with the ball handling skills of Terry Marsh, or rebounding machines like Alex Adams and Bill Turner, and nobody close to the overall talent of Leonard Paul, but pretty good talent.

I read the entire thread (like 20 pages). They have a lot of savy football fans there. Found it interesting that in the early pages - where their pregame predictions appear, that a relatively high percentage of the predictions favored Akron, and many said NCST would not cover the spread. Only a couple predicted a big NCST victory. They also have a considerable group of self-deluded fans who fill the last few pages of the thread (after the game) with crying and whining about how they lost to an inferior team. Let's try and schedule these guys in bball and put another hurting on them.

Akron wins with last possession kept alive by two critical penalties against NCST: one on an NCST cornerback, and the other on the NCST bench. :blink:

I think Z.I.P. may be onto something here. When talking to folks from my home town, Akron, I refer to the school as Akron U. When talking to outsiders its Akron University or the University of Akron.

The ranking is nice,but it would be better if it were made by someone with a clue about college football. This Bozo thinks that the BCS championship game is played by two teams that have already played in a "regular" bowl game!!!So what do you think, were the rankings made by a girl, a kid younger than 12, or just a complete idiot?
