@ Blue & Gold Today the Dayton Daily News (the quality of whose sports section rivals that of the ABJ) changed their tune; yesterday they said Morgan signed with Akron, today they say he was scheduled to sign with Akron on Wednesday. So I'm not sure whether an asterisk in front of his name is appropriate or not.

I was looking at the national rankings on 247 for 2021 but when I switched to the MAC I failed to notice that for an unknown reason (certainly not operator error) it switched to 2020. I don't think Rivals even tracks the MAC. You don't suppose the staff just made up those numbers so their recruiting effort didn't look so pathetic compared to the rest of the MAC?

Better recheck 247. They have the 28 Zip recruits ranked as the 10th best class of the MAC; ahead of Ohio and Buffalo. And believe it or not 17 of the 28 are ranked as 3 stars!!

Your guess is wrong. Even though the Bonnies and the Dukes finished last season with identical 11-7 conference records, my guess is the Bonnies will finish ahead of the Dukes this season. I do agree with you that the Bonnies have a decent chance of winning the now-middle-of-the-pack A-10 (although I have never heard of this before); it's just that I don't believe they have a prayer of winning the A-10 or making the big dance.

There is no way the A10 ends the season with 6 teams in the top 20-25 which would have to occur if your anticipation is to turn out correct because St Bonnie is a middle of the pack A10 team.
