We've had guys kicked off the team for a year and reinstated, Brett McKnight was suspended half a year if I remember correctly. Cotton missed two games and made some faces at their bench and did some trash talking. It'll be okay.

Hopefully we'll catch a flat WMU team after that performance. As bad as we were as a whole this year on more of a macro level - we were in so many game with top MAC teams this year and just couldn't pull it off when you start to look at things under a microscope. Odds are slimmer than they've ever been in my time as a Zips fan, but the MAC stinks out loud this year, so who knows?

E was on a nice track, same with Sayles. I'd probably go with Cotton.. He didn't look much like he belonged at first and came into his own as the year went. Now if he could just stay healthy and out of trouble

I think that decline that people are excluding from their "narrative" might coincidentally coincide with 2 of our 3 big men on scholarship going out for the year.

I think he's done a fine job keeping this team engaged and fighting hard despite everything going on. A lot of teams would have packed it in. See: Pitt. It's obvious they're giving it all, but they just don't have the horses to finish teams off.

I don't want this to come across as anti-KD, because he found guys perfect for his system and our team.. but outside of Zeke we never really were in the running for anyone of the caliber of those 3. Little more exciting on the recruiting front this way. I have a feeling Groce's recruiting and Fulford's connections are going to pay big dividends.

Better and more informational than anything I've read on the Zips in recent memory, including people getting paid to do it.

From my experience you're talking a couple full schollys if you have a few studs, and 9-10 split over 25 or so with some walk-ons.. a 1/4 scholly is the minimum, so at most, we can have 20 scholarship players receiving 25% scholarship, and 15 walk-ons

Eh there's always room for a walk-on or two at the end of the bench. Doubt it

I think Kostelac shows a lot of promise and if we didn't have to rely on him as much as we do and he was getting a selective 8 minutes a night in low-leverage spots, the outlook would be a lot better for some folks.

One way to help start to even out the class numbers

Seriously lucky to have someone of his pedigree wind up at UA (let alone as a coordinator) and it paid off.
