I would argue there's nothing to gain from playing a good 1-AA team. Either don't schedule them at all or schedule the APBs of the world that is (should be) a sure win. The JMUs of the world can beat us, and that is not worth the risk

I don't think you took the Ooze to Wins Conference Adjustment (OWCA+) into account. Each ooze point is good for 1/10th of a win (CK average Ooze rating of 80.8), after the MAC's OWCA+ adjustment of 1 win you are at 7.08 wins.

They're pretty different schedules.. Average record isn't the greatest stat. We played 2 top ten teams last year and a bunch of cupcakes which brings the average right to .500. This year we get rid of the top 10s, and turn the real cupcakes into top 200 games with mid majors with winning records.

I guess it depends. If we beat UPS and go 8-4 but don't make it to the MACC I'd call it a success. If we beat them and end up 5-7 then it will be a yuuuge missed opportunity.

Did you open the 15-16 schedule? I dont think we really have a gimme game until December, where we have two cupcakes before heading to Hawaii. It's a similar schedule to year's past, only we've replaced NC A&T, Coppin State, Radford, Arkansas Pine Bluff with solid mid majors like Chattanooga, UT Martin and IPFW. Oh and we get a chance to go knock arguably the best team in the state in recent past. Go Zips

That's ironic considering Michigan never releases a depth chart and Colorado released an entire fictional depth chart before their opener against Michigan last year. I'll see if I can find a link

Ball will have 900 in his first 6 MAC games. If he hits the over the Zips win 7+. Took a guess on Coney but it's nice to have a few solid options.. I think the Zips front 7 is getting back to that 2015 form and will cause some havoc in the conference schedule - taking the over. Go Zips!
