Preseason rankings are dumb for a multitude of reasons. Teams were getting credit for wins over highly ranked teams like ND and Ole Miss for a few weeks who turned out to be duds.

That's kind of what I'm wondering. I love that TB has the State of Akron on lock, if you will. But is there that much talent in Akron to offer all these kids? Honest question, I'm an hour away and don't know much about OH high school football except what's right across the border from me.

Speaking of 07. Worst moment ever? Al. Fisher. The couple minutes leading up to that however were the loudest I've heard the JAR.

That was so much more fun than beating Western Tennessee Tech by 40. I was pretty encouraged by the showing. If we hit a few more shots, or if Creighton didn't go in that crazy run, who knows. But those things happened. Point is we aren't that far off. I really liked the way we fought back when we went down 20 instead of folding and chucking up dumb shots, I think that's a really good sign of this team's heart. Pumped to watch them play Gonzaga!

Maybe not the greatest moment, but my favorite was Zeke Marshall swatting a KSU player into next year to clinch the MAC championship game. My Zips fandom only goes back to 2007, so perhaps others can share pre-2007 moments. There's a clip floating around youtube of it somewhere.

Jatavis was small. Jerome has NFL size.. He will be drafted. Bummed he won't be a Zip next year but good for him. The more Zips in the pros, the better for us.

I think the reason we are where we are is because there wasn't much student engagement the last 20 years or so, and thus not many new fans. UA needs to figure out how to get students to games and enjoy them. I can't for the life of me figure out why someone wouldn't want to go watch us play Adrian or Radford

We had a wide receiver playing QB for the last two games. Down our starting running back and our NFL bound defensive end. Maybe they could have played things a little differently but they were dealt a pretty shitty hand.

It hit him in the hands. He dropped it. I'll stop short of saying he choked but I think he'd be the first to admit he should have had it.

I think the answer is no. They're a game behind Navy and Navy beat them. Unless things get weird in a three-way (hehe) tie.
