  1. That's what happens when you use internet explorer..
  2. This I agree with. The odds of us actually doing it are way lower than our at-large odds. If we win out, we're in. Probably isn't gonna happen, but I guess the opportunity is there.
  3. ummm yeah it is. Here's a post from DiG on January 15th. "RPI is only one of many considerations for a team receiving an at-large invitation to the NCAA tournament. Below is the average percentage of teams from the 2006-2010 seasons for various ranges of RPI that received at-large invitations: RPI Range / % Teams Invited (2006-2010) 01-29 / 99% 30-39 / 80% 40-49 / 50% 50-59 / 37% 60-69 / 11%" When I said 80% and being in the 30's I swear to God I didn't read this first
  4. i'd say about 4k
  5. I'd say if we win out and lose the championship game, it's about a 80% chance...our RPI is already 59, and a win over ORU, one more over Can't State, OU, and Buffalo, along with a win over one of those in the conference semi's would most likely get us in the 30's of the RPI.
  6. lol don't feed the troll
  7. Have you ever heard of keith dambrot?
  8. Oral Roberts > Iona.
  9. Updated as of this minute. Interesting that our OOC RPI is 95. That means our RPI in conference has to be around 40 or better. Buffalo dropped I think 7 spots afetr beating NIU, which stinks that we still have to play them.
  10. I guess I have a different definition of happy. 6+ wins will make me happy. 3-5 I'll understand and in no means will be disappointed or calling for TB's head, but I can't say I'd ever be "happy" with a losing season.
  11. I think A-10, CAA, and MVC teams would be a great start, with a few big names, and a few tune ups as well. Also, I'm thinking GoZips will make his triumphant return to ZN in this thread to tell us how hard a job scheduling is and to go see Dan Peters if we'd like to help
  12. I'd like to schedule more teams like us, teams that have trouble getting games with big time programs, but still solid programs. CSU, VCU, some MVC or CAA teams... I realize vcu won't happen again with shaka, but programs at that level are ideal, imo.
  13. So this is what happens when we come out hot. We're really good.
  14. hate to burst their bubble, but Iona isn't really the name I'm hoping to draw. The only reason I knew who they were when I was little was because I thought they spelled Iowa wrong.
  15. Updated as of last night's games. Can't believe the MAC is still 16th with pretty much 4 top 100 teams. The West is brutal.
  16. Meh, I think his improved shot has led to defenders taking him more seriously around the arc, and leading to chances to drive past them. He's had a good amount of opportunities to take it to the rack, and missed a lot of what should be easy lay-ups. If he could put home those chances he's created, I doubt many people would be feeling the way they do right now.
  17. Didn't we draw VCU twice in a row?
  18. I'll update this tonight. Would you guys like a thread like this updated after each game? If so I can keep on it, and maybe the mods could sticky it if enough people wanted it.
  19. We just beat the #1 team in the west (we were 2 point underdogs) by 12.
  20. Yep. And Jones played his best half of the year. Zips by 10 unless we sleepwalk through the next 20 minutes as well.
  21. Maybe during halftime we will realize that this Jarrod Jones guy is alright.
  22. Alumnus of 45 days
  23. First off, thanks ZW, always look forward to reading these. As for the above quote, I had the same exact feeling. Some players might get selfish/upset with not playing 30 minutes a game. Our team seems to not only be okay with it, but embrace it and take advantage of the minutes they get. Great sign, imo.
  24. Fixed
