Hitchens should be awesome, imo Roberts is the best point guard on the team this year. Throw in Mcnees and I think our guards will be a lot better next year. Just my opinion, but I think you're gonna see some quick, uptempo basketball next year with some 3-4 guard sets. Should be fun.

I agree with tuba...Our teams tend to panic when facing a big run and some adversity. This doesn't make KD a bad coach, it's ok racer, every coach has some flaws, and this is KD's flaw I believe. He can do a better job of settling the guys down, because I've seen many bad/forced shots this year when trying to stop a run. KD has very few flaws, and this is one, for the record I love KD and I hope he stays here his entire career but it's absurd to shoot down every criticism of the guy, he has problems just like every other coach on the world, just fewer problems than most

Why switch him to DB?Andrew Johnson.

Sure beats MAC tourney pricing!ACC tourney pricing is much greater than this, if you can even get a ticket. My son paid a scalper last year for a first round tourney ticket $70.00. This is normal pricing for NIT game tickets. So far as thinking they do not care, the players are fired up. The seniors especially look at this as a chance to show the NCAA that they were wrong the past two years by snubbing them for the big dance. The band is fighting among themselves as to who gets to be among the 30 person limit to play for the game. Those that are not chosen by the director are going anyhow with student priced tickets just so they can support the team they have been watching all year. They have 100 members in the basketball band.If any of you are able to go to the game, welcome. Hopefully you will have a good experience in Tally. From a former Barberton girl now living in Florida.It would have been a pretty cool tournament atmosphere if more than the other 70 band members showed up to watch

I would love that. We could show the Suckeye fans some real basketball.There is no doubt in my mind we would beat them, they are overrated, if there was ever a chance for some exposure in the state, this is it.

I have a feeling we'll be in the CBI.If we don't make it to the real dance, I might just rather have a home game in the new tourney than a low seed in the NIT. Either way wouldn't matter I suppose, the NIT is higher profile, on ESPN. It's like going to the fat kid's party because the cool kid didn't invite you. I don't really care, but I will sure as hell be there if we get a home game.

out of the 12k it seemed like 11k were Can't fans. It was pretty much a Can't home gameI beg to differ, I would say it was 60-40 akron fans...their fans were just noticeably louder because their fans cheer, not just the student section. plus the akron fans all left towards the end, but when everyone was there it was at least 55-45 akron, maybe more, imo.

The best part is, the "akron student section" part was so small...so no one could read that, and it just looked like they spelled it wrong...

It doesn't necessarily have to be Linhart, but some people not named Dials, Middleton or Wood are going to have to step up each day for us to win this thing. Yesterday it was Nate, Brett McKnight and Daryl Roberts. Tonight???Just think, if the answer was c.) All of the above...we would be scary.

we had the opportunity too...we just blew it.losses to NIU, Western, Central, Portland State...we win those ones, we're looking at a top 50 RPI, that's not out of the question.we beat Dayton, we could be around 35-40.Advance to the MAC semi's...with a win over Western in the semi's our RPI is around 30-35.If we win one out of the Dayton/VCU pair, we're on the right side of the bubble.we had the opportunity, Miami didn't.We had a chance to beat teams we scheduled, Miami didn't...

Just got an e-mail from the rowdies...you can get tickets through the rowdies for 5 bucks...everyone is meeting at the hard rock cafe before heading to the Q.but there is no transportation!!!wtf i'm sorry, but if you take kids to buffalo and Miami, we can get a bus to cleveland for christ sake.me and my two buddies that planned on going are now gonna watch on tv, have fun everyone

skip-zip, do you realize if we beef up our schedule with BCS teams, and lose, our RPI goes up, but the committee says we have too many losses? It's a lose-lose situation..the best way is to schedule top level mid majors, winnable games, but still boost the RPI. And of course win those games...
