    I feel like Buffalo offers a much better chance for Akron to win tomorrow. Not that Miami is all that good, but Buffalo would be a blowout.

    If Quincy Diggs couldn't win an appeal with the university to lift his suspension, there's no way in hell that Abreu could. Not even if everything gets dropped in court. The university has no real equivalent of due process.

    Maybe Akron should offer him a greyshirt opportunity. If he didn't have a big junior year, he likely would get overlooked as a recruit by most schools.

    I don't like the empty corners of Chicago State's arena. The Richmond Coliseum is just about perfect.

    I think he's just not being used in a way that plays to his strengths. He should be used as a slasher, and we're asking him to alternate between running the point and muscling up combo forwards.

    Sounds like melo should start, and McAdams should be the back-up. Maybe rotate them every media timeout if Melo isn't in good condition,

    Agreed on Walsh. Not sure about Gilliam running the offense. I think he works better when somebody else sets things up. I think our best bet at PG is McAdams, if we can't get Melo in condition quickly.

    Assuming Abreu does not return, there are now five scholarships open for next season, and five players coming in. The question comes from whether Pat Forsythe will get a scholarship next season or if Quincy Diggs chooses to return, although an outgoing transfer would solve one of those issues.

    I think it's a matter of his play style. Extremely high energy in short bursts, which is perfect when you're only playing 5 to 10 minutes a game. He needs to slow things down a little and he'll be fine.

    Well, maybe this will shock the team into playing a full 40 minutes of intense basketball for the first time this season.

    As someone who has been through the same thing, tachycardia is a scary thing to go through. You feel like your heart is going to explode and you don't know how to stop it.

    Doing some social media digging, no other Akron player aside from Abreu has any connections (at least in public) to the owner of the house where the incident took place.
