There's no team that's as fun for the entire MAC to hate as Marshall. If we brought them back, it would give the rest of the MAC fan bases a boost. However, they bring nothing in football, an OK basketball team but nothing to write home about, and zero media market.

And FAU. That means we'll lose FAU for MAC soccer. Addition by subtraction.

On the offensive line, we're losing starting RT Adam Bice, starting RG Mitch Straight, and back-up Center Vinnie Rizzo. We also lose 4-year starting longsnapper Adam Steiner. At QB we lose Dalton Williams. At WR we lose Marquelo Suel. At RB we lose Quentin Hines. We also lose starting TE Rhyne Ladrach. On the D-line we lose JD Griggs. At LB we lose both Kurt Mangum and Troy Gilmer. We lose Josh Richmond at Safety. We lose Miklos Blake and Avis Commack on the Corners. That's everybody who is graduating.

Meanwhile, Denver has abandoned the WAC and joined the Summit League.

The BCS money is split among all the non-BCS conferences. The participating conference gets the majority of the money, and the others each get something around $800k to split between their schools. The 18 million figure would be the share the MAC would get with a participating team.

The signing period for midyear JUCO transfers is from Dec 19th through Jan 15th. The regular signing period is from Feb 6th through April 1st.

Cinci is calling the ACC and Big XII. The MAC is not even an afterthought.

The MAC tried their best to hype him as a star, but he never really impressed me.
