Ball State beat Army on the road 30-22, and gave the MAC the most non-conference FBS wins its ever had in a single season (15). NIU beat WMU 48-34 to move to 8-1 on the season. All the following scores are in the 1st quarter: Miami up 10-0 over Ohio. Can't up 7-3 over Rutgers. BGSU up 7-3 over EMU. Buffalo up 7-0 over Toledo.

The trouble with following football recruiting out of the state of West Virginia is that it's almost completely ignored by recruiting services. What news you do find usually warrants further digging to verify things. With that, I can say that 6'1" 185lb Safety Logan Cox from Parkersburg South HS in West Virginia has verbally committed to play for Akron. There's not too much information out there, but here is a profile I found.

I doubt we'll only have three games where Bo Boroski is officiating.

Source found here. He plays for Hallandale HS in Florida. I can't find any information on any recruiting service. Local newspapers mention that he plays QB, but we apparently recruited him to be a WR.

I believe that aside from the quarterback, the defensive line can influence the outcome of a game the most. Tyler appears to fit well with how we want to run our defense. He seems to make lots of lateral plays.

You can't really judge them on this season. Next season we'll know more. Lots of close losses. Prior to today's win over BG, they had six straight losses, all by a single point. They play strong most of the game and then give up a goal late to lose. That might be a conditioning problem.
