BTN commentators keep point out how fired up the defense is but how the offense looks like they all had lobotomies on the sideline. Where's the emotion? Where's the offense getting fired up when the defense tries to bail them out? Are our new coordinators keeping them in check? Something's wrong here.

In other MAC news, NIU tied North Carolina 1-1 in Chapel Hill. A very good result for them, but a win would have been much better for us. I want MAC men's Soccer to succeed because if it doesn't we'll be in a world of hurt when it comes time for tournament seeding.

We're already in a major building mode. There is the new polymer building being constructed right now, and there will be a corrosion engineering building up by next fall.

Yeah. Where is our International Business Institute or whatever it's going to be called? My guess is that construction will begin after the new polymer engineering building goes up next to the Wonderbread factory (construction has just started) and the Corrosion Engineering program gets its new home. All of these new institutes and programs we're adding are huge revenue generators, and should drive the future growth of the university including things like renovations to our older buildings which will improve our weaker programs. I constantly hear how our nursing program is so great, but if you saw the building they're working out of you are left wondering how that's possible.

Temple just lost at home to 1-AA Villanova. If we end up tied with them, we're in a world of trouble.

We're playing a 3-3-5 "multiple". That means we'll have athletes on the field that can play any position and change the scheme on every play. One play we'll be in the Nickel formation, the next we're playing a pure 4-3. You never know what it will be, and it could even change completely during the snap count.
