Wow. And here I was expecting a Myspace or Facebook page, but he actually has his own registered URL. Impressive. If this guy is even half of what they make him out to be, he will be a huge addition to the Zips and should hopefully carry on the momentum that Dru Joyce and Romeo Travis have brought to the program.

It's not that I don't have RealPlayer, It's that I don't want to have RealPlayer. I already have Windows Media Player, QuickTime, VideoLAN, and Winamp. I really don't need another media program. Plus I consider Realplayer to be a form of spyware because of the way it behaves. So obviously Buffalo and their backwards Canadian ways have to require it to watch the game.

Peter King says its a possibility the consolation prize for the top two QBs might be a job in Cleveland After reading that article, I have decided that Peter King is an idiot. There is just no way that 2 QBs will go in the top 3 picks unless the Browns trade down. I think the Browns are just trying to market their pick so they can get a good deal for the 3rd spot in the draft. I saw that last year they made several good moves by trading down and looking at that draft class, they got good deals.

Those aren't the "real" Rowdies. There are only about 30 or so true Rowdies, by my count. The rest are fair weather fans. I saw in Thursday's Buchtelite that their survey question was "How often do you attend Men's Basketball games?" One of the responses was "Never. I only support teams that win." Reading that pissed me off big time, but it also shows that people are ignorant to the Zips. We get hardly any TV coverage on the news, Akron's marketing department is effectively non-existent, and word-of-mouth fails because everybody is caught up in the Buckeyes being #1 with the Zips as an afterthought.

Maybe the AK-Rowdies should get the one reserved section behind the opposing bench, instead of being split in two behind the baskets. I would love to have a unified student section. Sell the seats behind the basket and move the students somewhere else down low. That would be great. It's too bad the administration is working so hard to minimalize fan support. I'd email somebody about the idea, but I am sure that it would be ignored and I would never get a response.

So only four games at the Rubber Bowl this year, huh? Our attendance is going to suck unless we beat OSU, which in all likelyhood won't happen.

We have to stop this kind of scheduling. I really wish the football team could schedule games like the basketball team does. Don't play against any team who isn't willing to give us a home game in return. We will continue to get looked down upon until we stop scheduling those "get paid to lose" games. The MAC should get more of a series going with the C-USA instead of the Big 10. We could win more games and gain more respect.

Please tell me he won't log any minutes in the next few games. I think he has gained some confidence. If we gain a nice lead, put him in and let's see what he can do. He may provide a much needed spark this late in the season.

Zips win by 13. I could hear the AK-Rowdies during the whole game. Hopefully we can get a bunch of people to go to Buffalo as well.
