True. Bubba had a huge first half. Then, he just started jacking up bad 3s whenever he got the chance in the second half. I'm all for the "heat check" shot when some one is having a good game, but if it doesn't go in you don't keep trying to shoot 35 footers until you make one.

How do you blow a 19 point lead like that? Oh, wait. I know. You have Bubba start launching 35ft. three-point attempts for no reason other than to show off on ESPN. That kid is a cancer to any team he plays for. Thank God he is not with Akron anymore.

I think we will get many more votes, but not break into the top 25. Beating two good teams by double digits has to count for something.

I think it's a good idea, but why would the university do that when they can charge everyone $3 a bottle at the concession stand?

Good thoughts. I have to agree. Oh, and Rybak was in because we had, I believe, around 20 fouls before halftime.

Toledo drops a close one to Old Dominion 70-73. That hurts. Old Dominion is in the top 40 in RPI. A win would have given the MAC the boost it needed to get a higher RPI rank.

I won't make a prediction on this one, but I will say this: Miami is much improved since the last time we played. So are the Zips, though. Miami's style negates home-court advantage and i think the Zips are the better team. A win there will pretty much gaurantee us a first round bye in the MAC tournament. -
Two more MAC wins tonight will bring our conference to 14th overall instead of 15 like it is right now. If our conference RPI gets higher it increases our very very slim chances of an at-large bid.
