What channel is the game on?

Akron up 38-20 with 4:00 left in the first half.

The stands look pretty full from the TV's perspective.

As of the 12:00 update on the SNOW line, the U will close at 3:00 PM and the game will go on as scheduled.

Does anyone have any clue as to what is happening? Over on the MAC forums everybody seems to be freaking out because two MAC teams tried to schedule 5 OOC games and the MAC is really screwing up over how to handle it. They could make all teams schedule another OOC game and cut one conference game, which is what they seem to be leaning towards. Alternatively, they could just punish the two teams that screwed up by not allowing them to play in the MAC championship (if they would have made it), which would be the logical thing to do.Anybody know which teams messed up? Could this be where the NC State return game has ended up? I really would like some answers, if anybody has any info.

If he helps us beat OSU (that's a tall order for any team), then I will personally lead his Heisman campaign. Until he wins us a big game, we have no reason to annoint him as the one who will bring Akron out of football mediocrity. Is he an excellent football player? Yes. Is he good enough to carry the weight of the entire team on his shoulders? I don't know. We'll see just how good he is after this season. Having freshman QBs and a new O-line will certainly challenge him to step up his game. Here's hoping he exceeds all expectations!

Are you serious?? How can you think that stuff even comes close to the halftime shows at the JAR? I mean c'mon, what could be better than some random elementary school's dance routine that we get for all of our half-time shows?

Ohio could move back up into the 4th seed with the way their schedule is. Miami and Can't in Athens will really help them out. Here's hoping Ohio beats Can't State because

I know, but I always feel that if I am at the game and screaming at the top of my lungs, I can make a difference in the outcome of the game. It may not always be true, but it's a great feeling when you know you have gotten under an opposing player's skin, or when you get a smile from one of the people on the team. Maybe i'm still just a little bummed out over yesterday's loss at Toledo. Nothing I can do about it now, except hope that the men's team learned from it.I think that the lady Zips are turning a corner this season. They are building momentum and could win a game or two in the MAC tourney. In two years this team will be incredible. We are already catching glimpses of greatness from the players. The women's basketball has a chance to be good again for the first time in recent memory. They deserve much more support than they get. They seem to play better when there are actual people in the stands cheering for them.

timmyboy, I would love to have gone to the JAR and cheered on the lady Zips to victory. If I had any choice in the matter, I would go to every home game for men's and women's basketball. If I didn't have to work, i would have been there losing my voice with the 11 AK-Rowdies who showed up. But the fact remains, I wasn't there. I will be there at the next game and scream twice as loud to make up for it. Honestly, there should have been a mandatory meeting at the game to prep for the OU game. Oh, and I never caught the final score; does anybody have it?

Awesome. I would love to keep a 1-game lead over Can't in the east. It takes a ton of pressure off of the team going into the game vs. Ohio.

My last class is over at 4:00 on Tuesday. I'll be there to wait for Bubba. If you thought losing to NIU made him cry, just wait for what the AK-Rowdies have in store for him.
