I don't see that happening next year, because of all the seniors and how much depth we have, but in two years they could help us out alot.

I think he will become qualified for Akron. There was no way he would have been able to get into Virginia. They are pretty tough when it comes to grades.

That makes SEVEN *** recruits for this class. Just wait until tomorrow, hopefully we will get even more. This is the best recruiting class for any team in the MAC since UCF had nine ***s in 2003!

I was honestly suprised, since Cinci, Dayton, and Xavier are all in Ohio. Classes were in session on Monday. I don't know about Tuesday, though. I am checking the Zipline website every so often to see if they will post anything. Does anyone know what will happen to the game if they cancel class on Wednesday?

You're preaching to the choir, Apollo. I sense a positive trend for attendance right now, but it shouldn't take this long into the season for people to show up. They knew we would be a good team, but I guess it is that Northeast-Ohio mentality. They needed some proof before they jumped on the bandwagon. We've been let down too many times to instantly support a team when they start doing well.

Never, as far as I can tell. The only time they close the entire campus is when the roads are exceedingly icy, and even then it's a crapshoot. I know some people who got first-degree frostbite on Friday just from walking in between classes, and it is even colder now than it was last week.

Maybe Indiana is thinking about joining the MAC in football only like Temple. They could be in the West and balance out the divisions, and would probably compete a bit better against MAC opponents.

The students stay away for the same reason everyone else stays away. They are either lazy, or just don't care. The same can be said for the football games as well.Today, it was because it was too cold. The same goes for Wednesday. They will find any excuse not to go to the game. Of course, once they have been to one and see how great the games are, they come back. I know Mack Rhoades was there and he must've seen that the GA upper section was nearly sold out but the chair-backs were only 2/3 full. I really hope we can sell out a few more games this year, but the only one that I know for sure will sell out is Ohio. Maybe if they beat Toledo and keep on winning word-of-mouth will sell tickets better than any advertising could. I really, really, really want to get three crowds of 5,000 of more in the JAR.

I doubt that anyone even knows that it is on TV. I didn't see any advertisements and I didn't hear anything on the radio, so who knows? Oh, and if you think is is cold out today, just wait.

I, as a fan, am probably overconfident. Coach Dambrot will not let his team overlook Ball State, especially after the EMU game. That being said, there is no way we lose to a MAC team at home this year under any circumstances.

Our schedule had better not be what you guys are saying. We would only have four home game,all late in the year. This time, it is not something that was set up years ago. If we get no OOC home games, heads should roll in the athletic department.

Yes, but there is always the possibility of someone decommitting from somewhere else and choosing Akron instead. Right now, in another thread, I am only tracking the people who haven't committed to anyone just yet. Other schools could pull their offers to kids who have verballed there, and they could use Akron to fall back on. I don't know if that will happen, because we only have a few schollarships left to give out and they could fill up quickly.

Is anyone else getting some weird stuff when they go to Gozips.com? It shows the page for a split second, then redirects to some advertising agency whom I can only assume is the domain host because it says that the domain has expired.
