The dorms are almost done, from what I can see the exterior looks finished. They are opening next fall, but apparently UA feels that freshmen and the learning communities deserved the dorms over everyone else. I guess they figured the only way they could get the nerds near the football stadium is to build the dorm next door. Bad planning on the Honors Dorm if thats the case...

I think people just need to take a look at reality and the truth is we really do suck. I understand being a big zips fan I should be optimistic but I'm not. I knew this season the football and basketball teams would both be flops and I was right. Before the football season started I saw everyone posting on here about how amazing we would be and look what happened. Just try to be more realistic, we have no chance of starting out 3-1 or anything, we might not even win 3 games this year. It's sad, but true....

Not sure what you are talking about....Polsky and Quaker are definitely a part of Campus last time I checked? they are on the map? we have classes there? It's no different than Folk Hall or Gallucci...Just because you have to go over a bridge it makes no difference. I guess when I cross the bridge from robs to simmons hall I'm leaving campus?

I always thought they should change the Q on the top of the tower to something more fitting for UA... either that or the UA logo they have on the Polsky building.

If I had to guess...I would say we will have the same blue uniforms from last year. Possibly new white ones to match? but the helmets need to stay the same! I would like to see something new, but I couldn't see the football team getting new blue uniforms after just getting new ones last year, waste of money

He's from Ohio. What are you talking about? Ianello served as recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach at Arizona. It's a lot easier to get big time players when you have big schools like that behind you. Now he's got to recruit kids to a school that has 1 MAC championship, 1 bowl appearance, and coming of a 3 win season? It's going to be tough for him out there, but I wish him luck that we get some more to sign...

cooper does not impress me one bit...he's a decent player, and one day can be one of the best in the MAC. Not the country and I don't see that happening. He's not consistent and has bad scoring droughts. In my opinion Zeke will be the best in the conference for years to come and will be blocking everything coming from coopers hands. I'm just tired of people talking about how great OU is...we beat them 2-3 games this year and Can't beat them twice. And weren't they the 8th seed? Them winning does not help us 1 bit so if your an akron fan I don't see why you would root for OU. I like the browns, but I will never root for the steelers or ravens...same division. and all you people that like OSU...would you ever root for michigan or penn state?

He has his good nights but....good players don't have awful nights like Cooper look at these point totals 2 - Delaware 5 - EKU 5 - Pitt 6 - IUPUI 7 - Ball State 5 - Wright State 4 - Miami 6 - BGSU MAC tournament 2 - Can't 2 - Miami When there are players that average 30+ pts a game out there, some guy from OU who averages 13pts a game really doesn't impress me. I'd consider someone a decent player if he averaged around 20...but 13? get real Troy Cotton from Green Bay averages 36!?!?!?! that's impressive but no ones cares about him around here

LOL...Right. Duke deserved a 1-seed. Xavier probably deserved a 5-seed but only got a 6. But anyways, your talking about individual schools, and not conferences. The point is that these wins won't help MAC teams resumes come next March. The only way to do that is to win big OOC conference games in November-December. National Rankings are the only way to get at-large bids from the MAC...which both are things akron will never get

They DO consider stuff like that, and OU has a budding (freshman!) superstar and a superb "other" guard. They want to see the stars play, like when Wally was playing. BTW, could we trade them infocision stadium for Cooper? trade one of the nicest stadiums in the country for an overrated guard...I pass the browns might be down for a trade like that tho He is not over rated. Three more years of playing against him is downright frightening. I wouldn't trade a urinal from Infocision Stadium for him

Come on now VMD...lets say we "lost to a team that is hitting on all cylinders and even beat up Georgetown". Sounds alot better than "they didnt deserve to be there". It's Ohio, same reason I would never root for Can't, or Buffalo or any other team in the MAC....

Miami's hockey team was ranked #1 for a good portion of the season (I believe they are #2 now) so they are pretty good and BGSU's hockey team and OSU's hockey are both generally in the good category too. If you are talking about solely NE Ohio hockey, then you may have something. I know Miami has a good team...I was just suggesting that Northeast Ohio would be good for hockey, I mean no one would expect soccer to be popular and look how that is. But it all comes down to winning. No one will care if we have a Hockey team thats as disappointing as some of our "other" teams.

I think Ohio sent those refs fruit baskets before the game...the way all those calls went I hadn't seen a game that fixed since SuperBowl XL
