  2. JD doesn't seem to have a number assigned yet. I would suggest 99. ? Just a reminder what JD did at the combine. He finished first among edge rushers in the 60-yard shuttle (11.78 seconds), third in the three-cone drill (7 seconds), fifth in the 40 (4.6 seconds) and 11th in the 20-yard shuttle (4.44 seconds). He also placed second in the vertical jump (39 inches) and fifth in the broad jump (10 feet, 2 inches). I hope Flores takes a special interest in JD since he is familiar with his position. Overall odd roster strategy in Miami, but maybe this is JD's chance.
  3. Kyron started yesterday, had 5 solo tackles and got hurt.
  4. Visible upgrade for next season. ?
  5. Ulysees was at the game last night talking to fans and signing autographs.
  6. Not many positives last night. I will mention that freshmen Adetutu Daranijo led the team with 10 tackles, 8 solo. If you appreciate defensive line play, once again, Davon'te Jest had another great game. It's a shame his efforts get lost in the final score. Go Zips!
  7. No member was able to answer the two questions correctly before the game started. I apologize, as I got distracted, and failed to close the poll until this morning.
  8. How about this for impressive? "One bright spot for Akron this year has been is coverage on kickoffs, as it ranks first in the nation with an average of 13.54 yards allowed." Coach Arth is probably highlighting this in his end of the year performance evaluation. ?

  11. Fearless Forecast: Jest scores, and breaks the pencil in two.

  13. Nobody correctly guessed all three answers this week.
  14. Good catch. Sorry, should have been 3-5. I fixed. If this changes anyone’s vote, just indicate in this thread.
  15. Akron’s bench being out scored 42-9 stood out to me. Also the Zips only lost 37-36 on rebounds, I read some were concerned watching the Malone game.

  17. Uli? Never heard that before ?
  18. There is no live video stream for this contest ☹️
  19. @Captain Kangaroo was the only member to correctly answer all three questions last week.
  20. Fearless Forecast: Zips defense forces BG into some obvious passing downs and gets two picks, one for a TD.

  22. No OLB reps, but plenty of impact on special teams for Steelers rookie Ulysees Gilbert
  23. Given the outcome of the game, I thought Shawn Kenney and Forrest Conoly did a nice job. AJ Watts continues to impress me.
