  2. Wow, I'm not sure how to critic that article w/o writing about the Steelers defense, so I won't. In short I'll say Scott Kacsmar doesn't seem to understand defense, he likes stats, but doesn't understand what he sees on the field. This is a big cliche, but it holds true, the Zips need to pressure the QB, and create turnovers. Bowden echoes this every chance he talks about defense...for a reason. I'm hoping with the depth the Zips have moved toward in the front seven, this will finally be possible this year.
  3. Small mention here back in March. Building a New Arena...One Bobblehead at a Time™
  4. My favorite Columbus State LB is transfering. Wonder if he ends up in the MAC? Scout Profile
  5. Is that actual bodies in seats, or just sold tickets?
  6. Is it a good design? Better than what they had before? Are they going to market around it? Not enough info given to answer the question at hand.
  7. Someone please let me know if that robot Berman gets the ax, I might be able to turn back to that station once in awhile. Next in line would be that blowhard know-nothing self-proclaimed "draft guru" Kiper. I'm guessing hard working guys will fall before those two overrated egomaniacs. I guess it's possible those two don't even get paid, they just keep showing up.
  8. Maybe coach Bowden should invite Nick Gilbert to be his special guest at the UCF game?

  11. I think you could be right, I just can't think that way just yet. I have to see this team play a few times to see what we have.
  12. End it here! ...or here.
  13. Eventually it will be uncovered that Haslam is behind the concessions company.

  15. Full Story Found by Clicking Here Former Tri-Valley High School two-way lineman Adam Bice will sign a contract with the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, his brother Nick confirmed Monday. Bice, a 6-foot-4, 284-pound center, played four seasons at the University of Akron and established himself as one of the top linemen in the Mid-American Conference by his senior season. He was not drafted in April but received free agent tryouts with Miami and Arizona before finally receiving a contract from the Cardinals. He will participate in training camp the with hope of making the regular season roster.
  16. I may be late to the game on this one, but since it's a PA beer, Giant Eagle carries it. Love it! Troegenator Double Bock I finally found a Thirsty Dog beer that I enjoyed. I had a Cerberus Belgian Tripel at Russo's Restaurant last week. Not bad. Rosewood Grill in Hudson has Ommengang BPA on tap right now. BTW: It's American Craft Week 7 don't-miss U.S. beer fests
  17. Willie Parker hardly played at North Carolina, but he had a pretty nice NFL career. It's an exception, but it's possible. Labrum surgery is no picnic.
  18. Well written GC. Thanks for your perspective.
  19. Please review at your convenience.
  20. Nice find ZipsBurgh. ZipsWin has a lot in common with that dude.
  21. Nobody would question you if you simply provide a link (source)...like you have been kindly asked umpteen times. "Forced to have a medical scholarship because of my shoulders. No more football for me.... #ShoulderProbs..."
  22. Yaaawwwnnnn, another MVP for the kid from Akron.
  23. Don't forget the most important part of the plan, the excellent publicity that he is receiving. A nice step to help rebuild his image after his (advisers) ESPiN PR nightmare announcement. Hopefully Zips fans can benefit from this in the future. Dru is in charge of the project.
  24. LeBron donates a million
  25. We only had three less players drafted than THE Columbus State, come on man!
