  1. Big Ten football is boring. When is the last time you looked at the schedule and said "oooo, I gotta see that b10 matchup?"The b10 out of conference schedule is more interesting. Michigan ND was interesting to me, although I didn't get to watch it.
  2. This is the week we find out if LR8 has the potential to lead this team or not. It's been obvious the past three weeks that he has been in over his head and was not ready. He deserves the chance to start this week against the same or weaker competition. With that being said he needs to improve his play dramatically. He needs to start taking care of the ball. Score more points for our team.
  3. Usually in cases like this you might see an injury settlement. Then he would be free of a contract.Has anybody actually ever spoken to Hixon, and think he has any desire to coach? One positive IMO, his resume includes playing offense and defense.
  4. Twinsburg Big Bird has a big display of Columbus garbage. No Zips.I never noticed this before, not that I really pay attention. You know those stupid hotdogs that race around at the Indians game? They announced (last night) that one hotdog was sponsored by UA, one by KSpU, and the other by Case (I think).
  5. Can it come true this week?
  6. One, crummy scheduling by the NFL. Two, I feel sorry for the 49'ers. Three, I'm using this information to bet the Eagles in two weeks.
  7. We are behind pace. I got mine ready for Saturday. Who will be Saturday's MVBD?
  8. Thank you for your analysis. Hard to get that from the radio. I'm looking forward to the day when we can analyze one QB without having to compare him to another QB on our team as a benchmark. IMO, this will cease next season one way or another. I agree with D.I.G, I would like to read more of your post game thoughts. No substitute for being able to evaluate players at the game when you can focus on just them.
  9. Isn't Jason Taylor going to be in town this weekend? Can he come early and give a motivational speech to the players? He is in a similar situation and seems to be able to take responsibility for the actions of the players and not blame a coaching staff.Source"It's us," said Jason Taylor, whose return to Miami after a season each with the Redskins and the Jets has quickly soured. "It's not the coaches. It's not ownership. It's not the fans. It's the players in this room that are doing dumb things and getting in our own way. "If you can't fix them, you've got to replace them. I'm not advocating anybody losing their job, but this is a very serious business, and it needs to be taken seriously, and I'm not sure everyone understands the magnitude of what we're trying to do here. If you can't get it, get out of the way and we'll get somebody else who will."
  10. Free Turnovers at ArbysThe BYU Cougars fumbled the ball six times against the Utah Utes, failing to recover one of them. Recovering just one or two would've been bad luck, but six? The Cougs also threw a pick and conducted whatever this was. That's a lot of turnovers.Via Utes blog Block U, here's a local Arby's offering a free turnover in exchange for a ticket stub from the Holy War game.
  11. This is a tough argument right now, because of the product that is being presented on the field. But, I always like to see the highest level of competition. We have the potential to achieve a high level of recruit here, examples are scattered through the NFL. If we dropped down, we would significantly reduce that. I'm sorry to say, I would stop going to games if we dropped down. Maybe I would attend games like I do the Aeros & Monsters games, one game every other year for something to do, but not really follow the team.
  12. Why is it so important for those that have given up on Ianello, to try to convince those that still have some hope, to give up? What does this solve? Do you think that if every person on this board called for Ianello's firing, it would happen? What exactly is the purpose? I understand those that have hope (or just big fans of college football) get tired of the same people posting the same negativity time after time, but don't get the other "group."
  13. Oh yeah, I think your right. There goes my free money this week.
  14. What do you expect the line to be? No line as of yet.
  15. When you are in the phase of our football program that we are in right now, it might be more of "how" we play. Three points, ten points, etc, is not exactly what I'm focused on while watching home games. To answer the question asked, I'll go with one.
  16. We might need to invite these Michigan ladies to Lot Nine. This is from the Eastern game this past weekend.
  17. How did that work out???A whole lot better than our game. Even without Vick for almost 1/2 the game.A whole lot better? I don't think so. I actually thought Vick's sloppy game reminded me of the Zips QB play. You can't turn the ball over constantly and expect to win, I don't care what your play calling is.
  18. "Far" & "good" are relative terms, so technically I guess you are probably correct. I may have my sights set too high.
  19. I know nothing, but I would be surprised if PN7 did not transfer.
  20. No, Unfortunately I think its more than that.
  21. I think everybody can agree, that we need better play at the QB position no matter who it is. You can't give the other team gift points and expect to compete. At this rate, this will be my most financial beneficial betting year ever. 3 for 3 slam dunks! Thanks Rob.
  22. Better coaching.
  23. Is our "Moore" in pre-med?
