Cooper got a T. Also in regards to Bowden not sitting court side...as I mentioned in the football recruiting thread, it was football recruiting night at the basketball game so Bowden was entertaining the recruits and their families, hence him all over the place.

Did you miss the possession where Akron got 3 Offensive rebounds? Akron actually had 10 offensive boards vs Ohio's 7.

Today is football recruiting day at the men's basketball game vs Ohio. Bowden is bringing all the recruits and potential recruits to the game.

Nothing says you completely ran over a team like them leaving the field with actual tire tracks on them...

No offense to Green, but honestly, I hope he transfers out and opens up a scholly for us. He just doesn't fit our new-found athletic style. Bring in a JUCO C/5 to back up Zeke. Someone has to leave just to be able to have three scholarships available for next season. KD has been sending Green a message all season with letting the walk ons into the game before him. If this is the case, KD2.0 should just call him in and terminate his employment with the Zips. The Zips now have the talent level to look at a player and say that after two years and walk-ons playing in front of him, it is time to go. We no longer have to sit on average players hoping they turn into something some day. The writing is on the wall. If it were the football team we were talking about, KD could just "accidentally" text him.

The old jerseys have been 50% off for the entire soccer season and they still have a full rack. They ordered too much even at selling them half off the entire season. The new jerseys are a lot better quality then the previous ones they offered. The jersey I picked up said $79 and others say $59. They are all supposed to be $59.

The bookstore has this years new soccer jerseys in. Good timing with the end of the season a few weeks ago.

I don't, I just want to hear the new coach tell me he has his work cut out for him, but he will work tirelessly to make the alumni proud of Akron football. Let us know how many more followers they get because of this announcement, I'm curious. Currently Twitter- 1628 followers Facebook- 14,972 I'll let you know a day or two after the announcement.

Basketball has practiced on Christmas Eve the last several years. Maybe they got Hanukkah off?

Just got back form CSU. A few thoughts: 1. Tree was fantastic. Every time he was on the court the Zips played better. The only negative was that he missed 2 dunks and couldn't hit a free throw. 2. There has been talk on this board about who the leader of the Zips will be. I think it will be Tree. He got in everyone's ear after every foul. At one point after Walsh committed a silly foul which caused a time out, you could hear Tree yelling Brian's name chasing him down the court to set Walsh straight. 3. Zeke was great and was great from the free throw line. The CSU fans behind us started talking about how Zeke was probably the greatest free throw shooter of true center of all time and started comparing him to Dwight Howard lol. They were also convinced that he was the MAC poty last year. 4. It seemed like #3 for CSU could not miss a 3. 5. Good contingent of Akron fans made the trip. 6. Considering CSU is #1 in the nation in 3-pt defense, akron shot 5-9 from distance.

Let's start emailing the ND AD and endorse Ianello. Give them the whole, "I will NEVER give ND another donation unless you hire Ianello and I will NEVER buy season tickets again..." It's a 100% true statement.

When I think of the Big East I think of Boise, Idaho.

I've been to all but one women's game. I'm going to the men's game though. It's a big game. You should have seen the atmosphere at the CSU-Cant game it was electric. Should still be a good game. I have faith. I'm a fan in the good times and the bad. I don't give up just because they have dropped a few games and everyone is crying failure. Thats what being a Zips fan is. Stop comparing the two teams and acting like everyone should give up on the men and support the women.

Another reason to be optimistic--the Zips are ranked 39th in the nation in field goal percentage at 47.9%
