    Last time Akron lost by 2 goals was Aug 24, 2008 to UNC 2-0 in the first game of the 2008 campaign. How many other schools can say they haven't lost by 2 or more goals in 4 years? That was the year we got to beat OSU twice, the second time in the tourney on a last second goal at St V.

    Before everyone starts praising Lebron on making this commitment happen, let's focus on the correct Lebron. Lebron Gladden is BJ Gladden's uncle, not Lebron James. Lebron Gladden still holds the Ashland record for most points scored in a season at Ashland at 649 (which happened under Dambrot).

    Why do you think the Verizon store bought out the rest of their multi-year contract after not even 6 months? Also there will be a new food venue, most likely operated by dining services in the CBA concourse. Bye bye Street Treats, it was nice while it lasted.

    Let's look at the future as well...we are getting a 6 11 guy who gets to learn from Zeke for a year. I hope some of Zeke's defense rubs off on him. He will be the main guy the following 3 years.

    I didn't realize JD Weatherspoon transferred to Toledo from OSU. I remember Akron recruiting him pretty hard.
