I was just excited to be back on campus and watching Toledo fans act like dumbasses. It’s been too long (for me).

…and there went the lead.

We caught the double header vs. Toledo today. Unfortunately they lost both to the Rockets. The Rockets won 2-1 in the opener and 6-3 in the second game. The second game was marred by Rockets fans and latet the Rockets themselves laughing and yelling at Zips fans. The Zips play must have struck a nerve 😀. Stay classless. The games were close and the Zips were competitive. After the rough start to the new program, I’ll take that. Our players and coaches handled themselves like pros.

I caught the game against the Citadel today. They were very much in the game until a fair ball that went in foul territory got tangled up with a chair. The umpire ruled it an error and sent the base runners home. that seemed to take all of the wind out of the Zips sails. The Citadel scored 10 more runs to win 13-2. Next up, a Wednesday inter against Cincinnati Bearcats, then a three day weekend against Dukie. Friday the MAC season starts at home with 3 against the Rockets.

Cant’s inching back in…

This is the best news I have heard in awhile. No more renaming and editing the players in Madden every year, using the Rams' vintage uniforms. And trying to get the colors close on the opponents. The college games were always several years behind the pro games, but they were better than nothing. I just don't have a game system that'll run the oldies.
