I didn’t realize I’m the first to bring that up since the board started. We do sound like broken records because outside a couple good seasons the program has been a dumpster fire.

Here we are again, another season of empty stands and losing football games. 8,900 fans paid their way into the Dialer to be entertained. 8,900 fans according to the program (and you know they’re always accurate with that). As I’ve said for years, in the middle of a football hotbed. Meanwhile down Rt. 21 there’s a high school football program that draws 8,000 fanatics per game. A routine game. For big games, this city of 32,000 sells over 12,000 tickets. My high school football coach took us to watch a Massilon game. We’ve fired AD’s and coaches, built new training and work out facilities, whatever. I don’t know if I’m going back this year.

Very interesting, I never understood the types of major state colleges or their differences.

Looks like we might escape this one with a win. FBS though…

Crimony. When does basketball start?

Minor league baseball became “fun” for the whole family. There’s things for the kids, things for young adults, even us old farts. The games are fun. It’s added entertainment for the time and money you’re paying. You can still have a good time when your team is eating s***. Why not have trivia contests, where fans text the answer? First correct answer wins a coupon for a free meal? A ball cap? It costs nothing, and gets people thinking about their school or alma mater or the local college team. What other ideas do we have to break the stigma of being a community college in the shadow of The OSU?

That thought did cross my mind.
