Marshall has more fouls (3) than rebounds (2). I'm not expecting him to score a ton this season, but a 7 footer only getting two rebounds against a team with no players taller than 6'9" is inexcusable.

Last 4 MAC games: Marshall - 7 PPG, 5 RPG, 1 BPG, 4 FPG McKnight - 8 PPG, 2 RPG, This team isn't going to do much if these two don't step up.

Where'd this come from? I haven't heard anything like that.

I'm still confident the Zips can win the MAC this year, but I don't see them as being good enough to win an NCAA Tournament game or beat a big program. If you would go to an OSU board right now, (I know you won't), you would see there are threads on every board congratulating UA and saying great job and asking why OSU can't be like UA in soccer. There has been posts saying everything from great job Akron, to Congrats Zips, to go for the repeat next year, to Akron is a dominant soccer program and more and more good stulf all about UA. There isn't 1 single negative comment. Not 1. Yet people like you have to attack for no reason other than your small penis syndrome. Sure OSU spends more on sports, but they also make a lot more too. I'm guessing UA will honor the team before or at halftime of an upcoming men's basketball game, and here's hoping that they wait. Don't do it when we play Bethune-Cookman, or another mediocre team that won't draw many fans. Wait for the sell out, energetic crowd that will surely be there for the Can't State game, and let these guys have the raucous standing ovation that they deserve.

Discussion regarding Zeke is usually absent on this forum, but I think this is an interesting topic to throw out there...just how good is Zeke Marshall going to be? The opinions on Marshall exist to both extremes. Some people believe he will be dominant, even discussing the possibility of him leaving after next year for the NBA. Others (mostly outside of Akron) think he's overrated, and that he'll be a good, but not great college player. Positives: - High character player...great head on his shoulders - 7'0" tall, which is obviously a huge advantage in MAC play - Gained some decent weight this offseason - Blocks a good amount of shots, and changes many others - Has developed a nice hook, and his ability to score has improved Negatives: - Still not big enough, gets pushed around a bit by bigger posts - Gets into foul trouble quite a bit - Doesn't rebound as much as you'd expect from a 7' center (4 RPG) - Rumors exist that Zeke would prefer a normal career than life in the NBA (Not that there's anything wrong with that) Obviously this is all speculation, but I'm interested to see what people think... Who will Zeke's career most closely match? 1) Romeo Travis (Very good college player, nowhere near NBA-caliber) 2) Chris Kaman (Dominated MAC, left after junior year, good NBA player)
