well i wanna get the ridiculous prediction out of the way before eveyone else does. im saying we go 12-0 in the regular season, plus win the mac champiship game, and winning a BCS game pushing our total to 14-0. anyway on a serious note, its gonna be extremly difficult to win more than 4 or 5 games this season, for a few reasons. completely new offensive and defensive schemes, losing most of our recievers, plus playing a true sophmore at QB. i understand how good PN played last year as a freshman, but now he has the toughest job of all the players on the team, he has to relearn the whole offense, not just one position, after having a completely other system burned into his brain. However all that being said ive seen crazier things happen, IE, butler going to the NCAAB championship for one so im saying 4 wins but if some crazy stuff happens 6 is probably the most we could win. I expect more in RI 2nd season. this will be a "rebuilding year". Heres to alot and its 7:57 pm and Can't still sucks

agreed. besides to be the best you have to beat the best, everone complains about playing a mediocre scedule, why would we want to add another mediocre team into the equation

first of all, your point #2, im not old im 29. secondly, it was written as a joke. Also, all the points you just mentioned are facts, especially about being mediocre. We are a middle of the road mac team, that struggled to beat teams, that if we were as good as i think you think we are, should have been dismantled by the zips. Examples you ask? EMU, WMU. shouldnt have lost to EMU, and had mcnees not thrown down a miracle shot we would have been swept by Eastern michigan also. shouldnt have lost to APSU and we most certaintly shouldnt have lost both games to our bitter rival, including a beat down on our home court. if you arent gonna except haveing a mediocre team, please enlighten me as to what it is youre going to do? Are you gonna suit up and play? are you gonna coach the team? probably not. you can be upset about the fact that we are mediocre, but you still have to accept the fact. the only thing you can do is stop attending games or start a petion to fire KD. other than that there isnt much you can do. except come on ZN and complain about how badly we played. seems to be a common trend. even the games the zips won, not many were well played. It's funny how people screamed for athleticism after we lost to K.e.n.t. I said we need guys that can flat-out ball. Now we lose to a very earth-bound, slow, mediocre mid-major at home, and it is proven again - we need guys that can ball. We have a bunch of role players. We have no bad-ass MFer's that can flat-out ball. We can't even defend anymore. If Euton, Egner or Green can shoot, I'd give them 30 minutes/game next year, right off the bat. If they can hold an opposing guard under 30 points, I'd give them 40 minutes per game. I understand everyone is upset that we lost a game when we were up 7 points with 5 min left in the game, but to be upset because of the team we lost to? WGB is a decent team and would probably compete every year for first in the MAC. dont forget they did beat a ranked wisconsin team this year and also beat Can't at the MACC, the same Can't team we couldnt beat or even lose to by single digets. WGB also finished 3rd in the horizon, which IMO, is a better conferance than the MAC. all in all we shouldnt be too upset about our season, we won 23 games, made it to the championship game, and a post season tournament, even though it was the CBI, but at least we arent toledo.

why is everyone saying getting penn state in here is a pipe dream? is it because they are a big 11 team? if you do recall we had Purdue in here about 10 years ago and they were a decent team then. I think it would be a bad idea to bring in a st bonnys or a tulane, even though they are a in a good conferance, it would only hurt our RPI and SOS. we are trying to better ourselves not hurt it. i dont think we should schedule anyone outside of the top 200 in RPI, with the exception of malone of course. anything lower than 150 will hurt us.

Im taking a guess at this but the reason they are posting wisconsin signing a coach is because that coach was formally a coach at arizona. arizona is a pac-10 team.

Actually, what we want to do is run the table (BG and Can't). That will guarantee us the MAC championship and at the very least an NIT bid, although I suspect that if we do win the league and lose the title game in the tourney we "could" get an at large to the NCAA. there is no way we get an at large to the NCAA, especially with losses to APSU, EMU, and beat downs by texas a&m, NC state, and VCU. the MAC very rarely gets more than one bid on up years, let alone on bad years like this one

nope, we lost the game because we missed around 50% of our free throws again. not gonna win many games, let alone games on the road with all the misses we had. i didnt check the box score, but from what frenchie was saying, our made baskets were about even with UB

all i can say is that it took U at canada to play their best game of the year and probably one of our worst games for them to beat us by only 13. Regaurdless the score we had it down to 2 posessions a few times in the late second half. IM sure KD and the boys will be ready for them when the make the trip to THE UofA
