Heres a little insight on weather forecasting. It is very rare that a meteorologist is incorrect on their forecast of precipitation. For those interested to know, an example of how forecasting the percentage of precipitation works. As of now I am seeing 40% chance of rain at 8pm this evening during the game. That percentage doesn’t mean there is a 40% chance that it will rain. It actually means that in the area, in this case Akron, there is a 100% chance that 40% of the Akron area will see some form of precipitation. So basically the percentage that is given is the area that will see the precipitation not the percentage that it will rain.
