I was told Travonte Junius is a greyshirt. I had the same concern about Anthony Clark and was assured he was still on the team, just not listed on the roster. I don't know what Deon'Tae Moore's status is. I have not seen him on the sidelines for a while. Perhaps he was there and I just didn't see him.

Imagine the Zips won yesterday. If a team can get into a bowl game by beating: 4-7 Howard 5-6 Pittsburgh 2-10 Eastern Michigan 2-10 Miami 3-9 Massachusetts 1-11 Can't State That means there are too many bowl games. Of course the invitation should be accepted if it is ever offered just to get the extra practices. Is it an expensive price tag to get 15 more? Yes, but it's a little bit late in the game to start worrying about what makes sound financial sense now. As far as making a bowl impacting recruiting, I would hope any kid we want to sign is smart enough to realize that going to the Camellia Bowl to get blown out by Texas State is not a selling point.

I have been in your shoes and been an apologist for the Zips in the past. Today is a day for counting blessings and giving thanks. Family and friends are at the top of that list for me and I want to let all my Zips friends know how much I appreciate them. No matter what happens for the rest of our lives, we will always have the memories of the good times we have shared together and you can't put a price tag on that.

This would probably be a good time to remind ourselves not to project all time greatness based on such a small sample size. So far, so good but the young man is 5 games into his college career.
