Imagine the Zips won yesterday. If a team can get into a bowl game by beating: 4-7 Howard 5-6 Pittsburgh 2-10 Eastern Michigan 2-10 Miami 3-9 Massachusetts 1-11 Can't State That means there are too many bowl games. Of course the invitation should be accepted if it is ever offered just to get the extra practices. Is it an expensive price tag to get 15 more? Yes, but it's a little bit late in the game to start worrying about what makes sound financial sense now. As far as making a bowl impacting recruiting, I would hope any kid we want to sign is smart enough to realize that going to the Camellia Bowl to get blown out by Texas State is not a selling point.
