Even 5-7 would be our best season since 2017 and it’s objectively still taking the program upward even with all of our all conference players transferring/graduating from last year.

Any idea why they’re pushing back the bleachers on one side or at all?

Well considering we’re ineligible at this time due to APR and I believe APR is the main consideration for any 5-7 teams in that scenario, I think our chances would be zero.

We really got boned with scheduling this year in terms of our bye week. Its really the last week of the season. Who tf needs a bye week the last week of the season. We have a quasi bye week this week I guess with a few extra days off, but so does the rest of the conference (who also gets to play their last game the last week of November due to having a real bye mid-season).

I heard mention of a voluntary redshirt due to reaggravating an injury. Can’t remember where, maybe radio? Anyways, hope he uses his last year somewhere else next year.

I know we probably disagree on Moorhead (I’ve been back and forth on my overall opinion), but I think that your statement is pretty telling. Only needing one side of the ball to be more consistent and you’re a conference contender. I wonder how much 25% more practice time, having a reasonable sized staff, and being able to keep 1-2 All-MAC players players annually would help that. One will work itself out in time. The other two can be fixed by just a reasonable level of additional financial commitment.

Good win. Just imagine what we could do if our offense was functional for more than half a game. This program can’t ever afford to look ahead, but umASS, KSucks, and then could be looking at a very winnable game against BG to get to .500….

Wonder who the other coach was that picked Miami.
