Big week coming up with Toledo and Ohio. Our 2nd Sun Belt matchup should be announced sometime this month. Keep winning and give up the opportunity to get a great draw.

Pretty cool stat..we are the second program to ever score 100 @ EMU. The only other program being FAU’s final four team..

If we get literally any sort of regulation(salary cap, actual penalty for tampering, etc) the gap should narrow. @Hilltoppershared a pretty good article about what may be coming with that a few days ago..though the SEC and B1G will do everything they can to prevent it. The SEC and B1G are ruining college sports and I can’t stand it.

I don’t mind the seeding either TBH, though I’m sure it will change due to the SEC and B1G programs whining. A lot of the opponents against the expanded playoff were worried about it devaluing the regular season. Conference champs getting preferred seeds/byes helps with that. NFL works the same way. Look no further than the 14-3 Vikings going to the Rams this week.

Definitely like the potential of Hocker, Spriggs, and Benenge (as well as the true freshman but unfair to count on them to contribute too much)..but seems like we are going to be counting a lot on players who have not played a significant amount of CFB. All of them will be underclassman, with the exception of Hollobaugh who is a D2 transfer. May be just fine, but just pointing out the landscape.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see them add another LB, considering we had two upper classman enter the transfer portal (really 3 with Fish and the new JUCO rule). Don’t know if it means anything, but I did see Summers reply to Tim Grear’s commitment post on Twitter.

Had offers from EMU, Coastal Carolina, and UTEP, plus a handful of FCS teams.

Still plenty of time for that to change. We are seeing players improve as the season goes on.

Love to see Okonkwo continue to play good minutes. Wilson starting tonight seemed like another odd coaching choice, but looks like they knew something. Hope he keeps that shot.

Looks like we beat out a handful of G6 programs for him.

Feels like Miami has to be early conference favorites with this. Heck of a get for them.

Reports are that NIU is set to join the MWC as a football only member. Would be nice if current members could benefit from the exit fee, but I’m sure it’s a joke (if it exists at all).

Sloppy win, but I’ll take them anyway we can get them. The staff still seems to be trying to figure out rotations. Starting MMK was a surprise, but even with that he seemed to play very little. Looking forward to getting Harris back (I hope). He may be a big missing piece.
