Watching the NW/Stanford game and an update came up. YSU playing them somewhat close, but more importantly Conner apparently left the game with a knee injury.

Not surprised about Chis and Zach, but maybe a little about Capi. Good to hear that Pughs is safe for now. He's seemed like a real down to earth guy whenever I had interactions with him and he has a nice story.

Gameday! Lets go Zips!! Prediction: It will most likely end up something like the WMU/MSU game last night. Probably never really in doubt in the 2nd half, but also not a complete blowout. I have no reason to think we will get blown out based on prior matchups with P5 teams and the fact that I'm not a big believer in Stoops. Now if Mayfield/the offense comes out and stinks it up and our offense looks better than most of us assume, I think it could get pretty interesting. He hasn't played live football against real competition for a long time now. I'm leaning toward the belief that he won't look that great. Perine/Mixon will most likely get theirs and have a few big runs, but I dont see them having a field day vs what I believe, is a defense with legit P5 talent as a whole.

Just like its worth mentioning that Mayfield is/was a walk-on, its also worth mentioning that he was the 2013 Big 12 Freshman offensive player of the year and also the first walk-on freshman ever to start a season opener at a BCS school. He has shown that he has talent. The bigger issue appears to be if he can keep it all together.

I don;t know if GT is phrasing that right, since he is still listed as a starter on the defensive depth chart.

This is..what...his 3rd season? I don't know about you, but I haven't enjoyed watching him take an elite program to just an above average one.

The away games are awesome, but I have no desire to see any of the opponents they are playing at home. Much better overall than years past, though. Take what you can get. Nice job KD.
