  1. The U's Oklahoma game travel package: http://www.gozips.com/sports/fball/2015-16/files/ZipTripsOklahoma.pdf
  2. Does DHB have room to give anyone career advice? Talk about a bust.
  3. I've got a good feeling about this season. If we somehow don't "BreakthROO". will we ever? Still some questions on offense, but defense should easily be the best in the MAC.
  4. His "unbelievable" scoring barrage was mostly in the 2nd half of the 4th quarter, not the whole second half (you know, when they were down by 20 at one point and 17 at the end of the 3rd). Not to mention many of Curry's shots were not made with Delly guarding him, again. Post is par for the course, though.
  5. I thought the link was going to be about Bruce...errr I mean Caitlyn Jenner.
  6. Speaks a lot more about the person than the logo if they get those two confused.
  7. You didn't answer either of the two questions I asked in my post, but I would have done the same if I were caught with my pants down, too. But what I was trying to say nicely is that your post was ignorant.
  8. That was with a 1 footed and 1 legged Kyrie guarding him. How did he do in their elimination game where Delly logged major minutes because Kyrie left the game early on with injury? I give Lebron all the credit in the world, but its a huge slap in the face to try to discredit Love, Kyrie, Blatt, or anybody else on the team. Lebron James is the best player in the world, but please do not insult anybody on the team. It's completely uncalled for. How did Wade and Bosh do without Lebron this season'?
  9. I'm pretty sure we are no longer open admissions as of approximately 1-2 years ago.
  10. Some great hot takes so far in this thread. If you guys have paid anything other than minimal attention during the playoffs, you'd know Delly has done a great job on whatever PG he has been matched up against. Including Rose, Teague, and now Curry. What he did last night was nothing out of the ordinary.
  11. Great points. Thanks for sharing.
  12. The loss of Kyrie is depressing. If there is any type of silver lining, its that we have some experience playing without him in the ECF against the Hawks, and it seemed to work out well. I wouldn't bet against the Warriors at this point though.
  13. The real question is, does this mean more games in total televised or the same, but less on ESPN and more on CBS sports? Anyways, it looks like ESPN is making out on the deal. They are getting paid to not show our games!
  14. This is interesting to me. I think its a good idea to lower costs, but to HALF of what a community college costs? Makes little sense to me. Why not make them the same or only slightly lower than community colleges? Your name alone should give you an edge over community colleges if all things are equal (or close to it). Seems there is quite the opportunity loss there. Will the assumed increase in enrollment make up for the loss from such a steep decrease? Do we care about quality or quantity? I was thinking there was more of an emphasis on quality towards the end of Proenza's term with actually implementing some requirements to get accepted. This seems to point more towards quantity.
  15. Lets not get picky here. Putting up a competitive team on even an inconsistent basis would be quite an improvement considering the history of the program.
  16. Yet, their quality of discussion is still as good as what's in our game thread.
  17. re: law school http://abovethelaw.com/careers/2015-law-school-rankings/
  18. Glad you had a chance to make it back. I'm not sure sure about many teams playing in football stadiums on artificial turf. I wasn't a soccer player, but from what I've heard is players hate playing on it. What do you expect the city to do? I don't think there is much they can do when all of the houses are privately owned. Really not a whole lot different than most off campus student housing at universities from my experiences. I also don't think Exchange is bad, though it would be nice if they had something to occupy the CSL plasma building. Within the past...5ish year, there is the new Manny's, the completely remodeled "The Score" (which I really like), the new South Hall, the new Euro Gyro, University Edge living along with the restaurants below, South Hall, and The Depot (apartments). I actually think its pretty decent. BWW's could use renovation along with Thursday's, though.
  19. Informative, but I guess it makes sense. Who in their right mind would choose Cinci over Cleveland?
  20. Publicly supporting your local professional team with the best player in the world who is from your hometown and has some involvement with the program seems like a pretty damn smart idea to me.
  21. Eh, obviously not completely preferable, but you know what they say...You can't have your cake and eat it too! Zips are fortunate to have the NIT give them to chance to knock off last year #1 seed Nova (don't know anything about them this year) and last year SEC runner up (and I'd assume #2 favorite behind Kentucky) Arkansas. Losing doesn't really hurt us against those 2 if we don't lay eggs. There is such a thing as a good loss. I'm willing to trade that for Savannah St at home and Wisc-GB at their place (an opportunity to pick up a great mid major win)
  22. And the chance to play with the greatest QB ever. Can't blame him. Good luck Zach!
