Plenty of good can come out of it. First off, it's a natural geographic rivalry, so it would be a well attended game. Secondly, it is a winnable game (we can use those). Lastly, the bragging rights can help with recruiting. Believe it or not, we have lost out on recruits to YSU. There is a lot more good to come out of playing them than the James Madison's and VMI's of the world. Unless we lose, of course.

Unfortunately, I dont believe it looks very good for Zeke. It's hard to prove yourself when you play in short stretches and for a short amount of time overall. No time to adjust or get into any sort of groove. The question is whether he will have any more chances....

Hmm, the "turning hips faster" part of the initial post is what is making me talk agility. But, I do agree, pursuit angles are definitely teachable, and are something that is taught at least clear back to middle school. Regardless, I wish him the best, obviously. We seem to have a lot of depth at LB. Hopefully somebody can step up and be "aplha" of the second line of defense.

Agreed. You can only improve your agility like that to an extent; and I dont see Rossi as having much room to improve. Golf is not a good example to refute this, as most of that game is based on form, not athletic ability.

I doubt thats the reason. Zeke could have signed with a number of teams and can, and more than likely will (rightfully so) play for another team in the Las Vegas summer league to have a chance to prove himself.

Why bother signing a guy to play summer league if you aren't going to play him? Maybe that's why Phili had decent expectations coming into the season last year, and are in a complete rebuild this year. Incompetent. No doubt in my mind Zeke is better than Eric. I watched Eric play for the Cavs in the summer league last year.

Zeke is one of two players who did not play for the 76ers today in a 88-80 loss. Not exactly sure what to make of that being that I dont usually follow summer league. Cooper played 14 minutes.

Why didn't LBJ bring it back? I enjoyed the big stars and big time recruits coming to Akron for a few days. Last year, we heard the reason it was in Las Vegas was because of USA basketball, and that it would be back next year.
