We have implemented it some and did use it some this year. We have had success with Harney and Tree pressing. Betancourt stands up too straight when he dribbles, causing him to dribble higher. He played solid, as a back up. I commend him for stepping up after the loss of Abreu, but he hasnt shown me anything to make me think he is our point guard of the future. Lane will not be playing basketball, and yea, he is good.

I dont like to play this card, but MTSU got hosed by the refs last night.

Dont try to fix what isnt broken. Forsythe just hasnt been worth his minutes the past half of the season. Plus we need all the ball handlers on the floor that we can to get the ball up the court.

We shouldnt have them both on the floor at the same time, because that means Tree isnt.

I disagree. VCU is a very good team. Their worst loss is to Richmond, and its not even a bad loss. The A-10 is tough.

I wonder how many tickets VCU is being allotted? Will they even have a student section? Will we even be able to have a student section with only 500 available?? Ugh..so disappointed about the ticket situation.

Who else have we played? It has nothing to do with who we have beaten (though its worth noting we lost to OK St in OT WITHOUT Tree and Harney), and everything to do with the rest of college basketball. There is a lot of parity in college bball this year. There is no clear favorite; anybody can win it. But hey....Lehigh didnt beat anybody last year and they knocked off Duke as a 15 seed. How did they do that?

Yeah, get off of Harney. He is fine. Him taking on the task of playing Point Guard should be praised, not criticized. I was happy with everybody's play last night. GO ZIPS!

Never been a fan of Cooper, but he did show some class after the loss last night. Dj cooper ‏@Djcoop5 Congrats to Akron- they over came alot of adversity on an off the court this year. Best of luck in the tourney. I will miss watching Zeke-led Akron and Cooper-led OU face each other. Its been a fun rivalry as of late. Two of the best in conference history. Not sure if he is an NBA player, but I think he will get a shot in summer league. I think he can have a very successful Euro-league career.

I agree he shouldnt be getting much time, especially with our circumstances. I dont get the dislike for him, however.

To win tomorrow, Harney needs to be the starting PG, and Betancourt has to play ~10 minutes like he did before. Oh yeah, and make at least 50% of our foul shots.
