  1. please please please put Abreu back in
  2. I cant remember his last good game offensively.
  3. And there is the inevitable Lebron mention.
  4. Agree with the first part of your post. But at worst they will be a 2 seed.
  5. Could we be playing any worse?
  6. LOL. Mangum wont get drafted.
  7. Tressel has ties to the University, so try again. Easy to hate 600 miles away when you have no clue how much he does on campus. "According to a statement from the university, Tressel will identify, recommend and support strategies and efforts that promote success in all facets of student life." “There are literally thousands upon thousands of students whose lives have been enhanced and who are successful because of their work with Jim Tressel,” Funny, I dont see anything about being responsible to beg for donors in his job description. Before he was even an employee, he helped us bring in the highest-profile football coach in school history during the worst time in program history. (Sorry, it isnt Faust)
  8. Dont think so. If I recall he was named interim after their coach left for Illinois, and named permanent HC shortly after.
  9. I do not put any stock whatsoever into MAC recruiting class rankings. The recruiting sites just do not know enough about mid-major recruits. I read somewhere that Akron had higher rated recruiting classes than Toledo sometime within the past 5 years. I dont know recall the exact words, but the point was that recruiting class rankings dont mean much.
  10. Just watched the rest of the PC and found it interesting that there is still another possibility that a transfer or two can come in and play right away.
  11. Thanks, I stand corrected. Potentially horrible move by TW.
  12. Im not going to look too much into that comment. I dont think TB wants anything more than what Kyle Pohl showed last year against Toledo. That being a QB with the ability to get a first down when the defense drops 8. I dont think he is changing his philosophy up and wanting a Jordan Lynch or Clayton Moore.
  13. It seemed almost half of these guys were committed to a program in an auto-bid conference at some point in time. WVU, a few from Cinci, WSU, Kansas, Arizona, FSU, and the Lauro kid had good interest from multiple BCS programs until his injury. Believe TB said he will be grey-shirted.
  14. Just showed some highlights on them and talked about each one (Same as he did for each new recruit). Was pleased to see the DE transfer from CSU was still on the team.
  15. Anyways, I really am coming to like this recruiting class. Lot of guys with potential, and some guys that should be able to come in and play right away. I can see the light at the end of this long, dark tunnel! I was glad TB touched on the guys that grey-shirted last season. Mizell should be eligible this season as long as he graduates JC. Really wish I could be hearing what TB is saying right now though....
  16. smdh. press conference cuts out right in the middle to show the JAR and static radio. Top notch UA!
  17. Saw on twitter, as it stands right now, Akron is two spots from the "last 4 in". If we keep winning and would happen to slip up in the MAC-C, an at large is looking more and more likely. People arent going to take notice when a school like Kansas has the longest winning streak in the nation, because its expected. When a school not mainstream is the hottest team in the nation, I think people are going to take notice.
  18. Being mentioned over guys like Alex Len and Trevor Mbakwe is special.
  19. Would love to attend, but I have a Business Law 2 exam to study for Hopefully a fellow member of ZN.o asks it and/or its posted online. Thanks for the heads up though
  20. Its impossible for him to be a freshman when he spent his freshman and sophomore year at WSU. Does he have to sit out this year is my question. How about Deon'Tae Moore?!?! Didnt know how much of a stud this guy was. "First-Team All-Northeast Ohio, All-Northeast Ohio Defensive Player of the Year, first-team all-state, All-State Division II Defensive Player of the Year ... Second-Team Division II and City Series Defensive Player of the Year as a senior ... as a senior, posted 98 tackles (56 solo), 10 sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception … had 12 receptions for 253 yards and two touchdowns, and gained 27 yards rushing on four carries … as a junior, had 73 tackles, 16 tackles-for-loss, 14 sacks, forced five fumbles and recovered two … blocked three kicks and one punt … had six pass breakups … received Associated Press All-Ohio and All-Northeast Ohio Inland District honors in Division II as a junior and senior … born Nov. 10, 1994."
  21. Oh jesus you sound like the STO announcers. Them wasting a timeout is not penalizing us. It helped us later in the game when they had no timeouts left!
  22. Well, we played probably our worst game of the year, while CMU played their best. A win is a win. Props to Tree for carrying us to the W. On to the next.
  23. Zeke. But yea, besides the alley oop, he has played bad.
  24. somebody pulled the fire alarm...wow
