Sad to see him go. With the few run ins I've had with him, he seems like a pretty good person. I will confess though that I do not really see the point in transferring. It's his senior season, and its not like he really has a chance of going pro or anything. I'd like him to stay at UA, take what he can from the experience of being coached by TB, and get a good degree. Regardless, wish him the best.

you think having schedule's of other conference teams and the "flagship" school of Ohio, while having nothing about UA at a facility the university uses is acceptable? And I said lack of pride. Which everybody on here has such a problem with. I never said those at the top are making bad moves in regards to hirings, keeping coaches.

I was at the women's tennis match at Springside in Fairlawn yesterday. During the break between doubles and singles I go inside to get something to drink. While going in, I check out their bulletin board and see this: A poster with Ohio State and Toledo's men's tennis teams schedule. Nothing at all posted inside the building about your 14-2, nationally ranked women's tennis team. Now I understand the facility isnt owned by the university, but come on! I'd imagine we are paying them to rent out their courts.

I thiink your expectations of incoming freshman may be a bit high. I think Clayton Moore will be the starter and he will excel in the system.

I dont see it as an act of desperation, I see it as a step in the right direction. Most other big time programs already do this..if we want to become big time, whats wrong with this move? Not surprised most of the pessimists on here see it as a desperate move, though.

Didnt somebody post that we have the top 1 or 2 attendance for MAC games this season? That shows we have one of the better fan bases in the MAC. I believe the reason nobody comes to the games is because nobody wants to see us play Miami. Now the Can't St and OU games (schools that people want to actually see us play) have great attendance. I dont think we have bad fans, we have bad opponents that nobody is interested in.

Oh, so you mean they dont root for teams from the area they are from and its ok? Kind of like how some people from the akron area root for OSU and they are the worst fans ever? Ironic.

Couldnt agree more. As for all of you who hate Cleveland/Cleveland fans..Im curious as to what professional teams you root for?

Some of you are just too negative. The MAC has its good teams like NIU, Ohio, Temple, Toledo and then its bad teams just like any other mid major. What was the MAC's bowl record this year again?
