RPI update...as a result of Wednesday night games during the zips game (as of 8 eastern) zips were #11 in RPI .6113 Strength of schedule (SOS) 23 Opponent SOS 42 SMU was #12 at .6101 Penn was #13 at .6100 at 7:25 Thursday morning zips dropped to #15 to RPI....after playing Chicago State for 2nd time 11. Tulsa .6115 12. Clemson .6108 13. Penn .6087 14. UNC-G .6067 ....I think that former zip Marco Milanese plays for Greensboro 15. zips played god awful soccer for 65 minutes. At 65 minutes, they started attacking and playing zips soccer. the first goal was due to tremendous hustle by Ashton Kamdem...followed by a great pass to Shooky For the first 15 ro 20 minutes of the 2nd half, I do not think that the zips had a shot. This would have been an awful loss to lose to a 162 RPI team. Credit to the players for digging deep.....and finding solutions in the last 25 minutes somewhat related....Western Michigan struggled mightily to defeat Chicago State 2-1 on the road Chicago scored 6 minutes and had the lead for almost 39 minutes WMU scored at 44:56 Chicago got red card at 76. WMU scored at 84 to get 2-1 win. Nothing comes easy in soccer.....

Northern Illinois scored on a long distance golazo. NIU had another golazo go off the cross bar Dobrijevic had a nice shot that the keeper had to knock over the cross bar. Zips need to do much better in the 2nd half to get their passes into the box.
