I think this highlights just how difficult it's going to be for 40, 56, 64, or whatever number of teams to effectively break away from the pack and form another division or organization. Five years ago, would you have put TCU in the "super-conference"? I'm starting to think that the whole super-conference thing has been overhyped, and the college football landscape, while certainly different, will nonetheless avoid undergoing a major, structural change.
