I talked to two players today. Both were actually quite pumped to keep playing and both told me that Dambrot told them that they could "hang their heads or hang a banner." LOVE THAT.

A good sized group of us will be at Wilbert's (directly behind the Clevelander, next to Thirsty Parrot) like the last few years. Can't beat their food and drink deals... and they fly the Akron flag as well.

It's probably good that certain violations of team rules don't get out to the public. That being said, why Harney was suspended isn't important, violating team rules that are very clear is ridiculous....no matter how absurd why he was suspended is. We live in a society where what you do in the privacy of your own home or personal time doesn't matter...especially if you're a student-athlete, and Nick should've known better.

I don't blame him for the outbursts... it was Bo Boroski who blew several of those calls. How does that guy still have a job?!

I have no idea what the reality of the situation is, but I know I saw Tree visibly frustrated in all three games so far this season, when last year he would have looked determined instead. But I'm not even sure if I'd know how to respond to someone who thinks that Dambrot is even adequate in his development of big men. It's lunacy that I can't even comprehend.

I'm not sure which disrespect is worse: -The NCAA -Akron's own athletic department being small time and lame by not letting a group of Rowdies welcome the Hoosiers soccer team to Akron as they walked to practice today. So glad UA punishes pride and dedication. No wonder student attendance is down at nearly every sport.

Ya know, I'd be frustrated if i were him too. His coach doesn't know what to do with big men offensively, most of his teammates are young and still very stupid on the court, and most of his teammates are playing with very little passion on either side of the ball (save for Q and a few others). He'll get his sh*t together and this will be solved in a few days...hopefully. Either way, go Tree...I'll always be a big fan of him regardless of what goes down.

With all of the talent on this team, it's really disappointing that we can't find someone to step up and take the scoring load. Bravo to Andrew Souders however. Fantastic hustle and defense all night from him.

Unrelated to the team or game...but Simon and Frenchie are a treat to listen to when they are off-air. Gotta love the live stream of the game for that alone.
