I think too many people on here get caught up in RPI. RPI is not the sole decider in who makes the tournament, far from it. We are on the minds of the media with the twitter thing, we're putting together a nationally recognized winning streak, and with a little more winning we'll have a fairly solid resume. Keep winning and it'll be hard to deny us, regardless of RPI.

just a thought...the women's game is before. Why not just buy a GA for that and stay? No way they are going to turn people away trying to get into that and only that. Say you're coming just for the women, then stay. At worst, they release tickets that are unclaimed as it gets closer to game time. If you want to get in, you'll still get in today.

No doubt a reasonable price comparatively...but they are ALL still way overpriced. Might be worth 110 bucks for those shorts though. First off, the name "Fire" is terrible and so stupid that it's offensive to me. Why not name them the "pros"? It's not like it's a registered trademark or anything. Second, had a chance to walk the grounds not too long ago. The place is in BAD shape. The locker rooms are still as they were left after the last game, with soda cans and even some athletic training supplies (needles/tape/etc.) still down there. Yes, no joke there were still sterile needles in drawers. The press box was so bad that I'm almost certain that they will need to demolish and rebuild it, considering no windows remained, some equipment was destroyed all over the inside, and entire walls were busted out. Anyway, the place looks awful. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of money it will take to make it game-ready. That being said, I can't wait to tailgate in the grass once again!

The game issue is one thing, but I just want to purchase a uniform from the athletic department directly. They can give them out to media outlets but the average person can't buy one?! That seems odd.

I actually emailed them regarding this and was told to "talk to the bookstore". When i asked what that meant, they basically said i should call the bookstore and ask them to stock more basketball stuff, completely dodging my question on how i could get an official replica jersey. I don't understand why they don't sell replica and/or authentic jerseys at games? Plenty of people (like me) would buy both the shorts and the jersey. This has been a problem for years now. If only it could be as easy as it was to get a Zips hockey jersey: Oh yeah, and look, GOLD!

We all know the NCAA would have done nothing over this if they just put the twitter handle down the leg or something. The idea to put it on the back of the jersey was kind of odd to begin with. Now "thumbing our nose" at the NCAA over a trivial issue is probably pointless and stupid, but it's about time someone started standing up to the crooked NCAA. I also think that the press that this is getting is great for pointing out the classless idiots in Indianapolis who didn't allow several teams to honor their deceased players with nice tributes. So if that's what comes of it to "fight the good fight", then sure i'm all for it....and that's not irrational at all.

Again, still the Zips fault. Shocking that people are still blaming the NCAA because the University can't run an athletics department properly. As far as the jerseys go, maybe you're right, but i'd take that chance. They definitely wouldn't do anything this year.
