The crazy socks thing reminds me of the Tribe in the 90's, when everyone donned the "Thome high socks" as a superstition in the playoffs one season. The Zips should do the same by following Tree's lead and make it their thing. Well, at least the fans could.

I've talked to Q several times in the past month. He's VERY confident in his chances of returning. Of course it's not in his hands, but he is a motivated guy who still supports his teammates and is working hard basketball wise and otherwise to get back. You gotta take that as a great sign.

KD DEFINITELY feels that way about Q. And Q got screwed as bad as anyone could this past fall. The fact that the kid is going to be attempting a comeback for us next year is admirable considering the way the U treated him.

Innocent until proven guilty. I know the U has to put up an ethical face for the public, but can you imagine the publicity they'd receive if they truly stood behind the kid and let him play? Holy crap, ESPN would explode. Of course, this is only if Dambrot and AA sat down face to face and AA straight up said he's innocent. Not sure how realistic that is however.

Agreed. And Im not discounting the other 10 guys, im just not very confident that they have the fortitude to get over AA's loss from a mental perspective.

That's a good point. As I stated, it's not the difficulty as much as the pointlessness of the way it's scheduled that i'm mad about. Why even have divisions if you aren't going to schedule their games correctly?

Agreed. While a few of our guys are fairly tough and gritty (Tree, AA), they don't have the leadership that rubs that toughness off on the others. We need someone to step up. I have a good feeling about next year, with Q likely returning. That dude gets it.

If we want to be big like that, we need to get a big influx of money into the program. There can't be this kind of indecision on the arena. We need a 3 million dollar donation like VCU just received from one donor. Gotta get money.

I think everything that's needed to be said has been said. So all that's left to say is: LETS DO THIS! FOUR more wins. Get it done and we go dancing, and then we're gonna do some SERIOUS damage in the tourney. I have faith in these guys and you should too. Things are about to get real.

I want to play the highest RPI MAC teams in the MAC tourney. We have to get every spot we can before selection Sunday to get a higher seed.

Don't know about the buckeyes being tough. They looked pretty darn soft in a few of those losses. I'll take my chances with Beast-Mode Tree, angry-Zeke, and the always gritty Brian Walsh.

Tune into ESPN2 (College Basketball live) right now, they are about to talk about the Zips when they get back from commercial. edit (1:28am): They must be saving it for the end of the show. Biggest story last i guess edit (1:34am): They showed a good amount of highlights and mentioned that we have the longest win streak in college basketball this year, but not much else. They've talked about us far more on other nights.
