1-3 SC Upstate comes into the JAR Monday night to face the Zips. Their only win is over Truett McConnell University. They lost 73-64 to NC Central.

The Zips have certainly played worse teams in the early OOC, but that was just an awful performance. Even the 1350 feed gave up shortly after the game. It apparently wanted to make no more of an effort than the Zips. They need to learn that if they occasionally go to the hole with authority that it will loosen up the perimeter defense. On the night, they did that once when X had his slam. Otherwise they dribble just to look to dish for a three and they either do or gt trapped and in trouble. They should also NEVER be out-efforted, which appeared to be the case tonight. That team was obviously out talented, but they sure play hard.

I received two wristbands with my season tickets for "free dinners" at the game tonight. Anybody have any idea what that gets me? I want to make sure to bring my lobster bib if I can get lobster. The wife's hoping for something romantic.

I just know they've made the tournament in 3 of the last 4 years. They did it through the MEAC though, so who knows.

I wouldn't see it selling out for Hoban-Massillon. Best crowd of the year at Infocision, sure, sellout unlikely. I recall Massillon-Highland there in 2013. Massillon fiiled most of their side of the stands, but not completely and they'll bring more than Hoban. Attendance for the Hoban-Massillon state championship game last year was 16,213. Capacity at Infocision is 30K. As an aside, OHSAA will probably look for another venue as Infocision is only a mile from Hoban and they play there every year against SVSM. OHSAA regulations state that distance is not a factor, but I think that may be a little close for their liking. Hopefully, KSU is making Dix available.
