  1. Threatening me is real mature.
  2. Lane is getting held all over the place. He was held and would have caught the interception had he not been held. Was Woodson lined up as a receiver when Wisconson called the timeout? Noticeable difference stopping the run when Hamilton is in the game. We missed a couple of games changing interceptions. Natson is as fun to watch as we had hoped.
  3. No, @$$ like you who go negative right off the bat are the embarrassment.
  4. I do think think that the depth chart necessarily means anything.
  5. #gozips! #Audacity
  6. I have to agree.
  7. God bless you, UA1987.
  8. This guy reminds me of the woman from VMI who sat in the Zips fan section last week.
  9. The PD has a piece on the game.
  10. Bookmaker roundtable: College football line moves, sharp bets
  11. My prediction: a varmint QB. controversy breaks out by halftime.
  12. More like this.
  13. My favorite varmint stat is the QB's propensity to throw to the other team.
  14. Jerome Lane averaged 19 yards against OK last year with a QB who was way out of his league. I doubt the "venerable" varmint defense will be any better. When we finally put Woodson in as QB, he moved the ball better than the other two. I think you are woefully underestimating our offensive threats. But, I guess it's hard to see when your head is up your @$$.
  15. I sure wish Terry Bowden would try to get some local talent.
  16. Last week, last year, the last 100 years....none of it matters. Tomorrow is its own game and will be won or loss on its own merritt. We have the talent and coaching to pull off a win. Let's do it, Zips!
  17. The Badgers have only beaten the over/under 2x in the last nine home games after a win and over the last 4 seasons, we have beat the over/under 20/29 times.
  18. We keep gearing how lousy VMI was, but this is an offense that is used to practicing against a solid secondary. Deandre Scott will play on Sundays and perhaps, Bryce Jones. Furthermore, Tommy and most of the OL got looks against last year's D. It's not lie they will be caught off guard by Wisconsin. I know the varmints think that we will simply fold at the sight if their new savior, but they will be disappointed.
  19. Poor little Zips. Never played anywhere big before. As a matter of fact, I bet the guys are so afraid of the big, bad Badgers and their fans, they are asking TB to forfeit.
  20. And, as a brand new WR, played fairly well against a very good OK team. Had we a better QB in the game, Lane would have had more yards against them. Additionally, he was our only significant threat as a WR so defenses could afford to focus on him without many repercussions. That is not the case this year. Natson's bio speaks for itself.
  21. In addition to that, we have never had the players with the skill to consistently make big plays, before. Hundley broke the long run with a just OK line and MTB and D'Orazio made big plays once in a while. Offensively, I have a lot more confidence in our chances of being successful if it comes down to the wire. I am not nearly as hopeful, defensively. Jelani Hamilton can make a big difference here. but is it enough?
