That's all and good...however, he's a high official with a DI conference now.Despite his background, once you reach this level of responsibility you must have the capacity to act like a professional.Makes me wonder what other situations in which he has lost his cool.To just become so defensive and rude when you are talking to the people who justify his job (the customer) is in appropriate.This wouldn't work in the business world.By the time you reach this level or stage in life, he should know better.It's nice he apologized, but this should have never happened in the first place.

We fill a minor league baseball stadium just about every night for 60 or 70 some home games.I think once we get a nice new stadium on campus with the suites...you'll see a dramatic change in attendance...especially if we win.

I think going deep in the NIT would be great.Rather than not going to the NCAA...my big regret is not winning the MAC Championship.

What's WZIP doing these days.When I was sports director at WAUP in '79, we had a weekly call in show called Sportsview.We had some taped pieces in there, interviews with Coach Dennison...it was all Akron all the time.Why can't WZIP do something like this.Would be good experience for their sports guys too.

If they could sell it...they would do it.There is sportsline on WTAM every night. But I'm sure that if you called about to talk about the Zips or the MAC, Kevin Keane would make quick work of the call and go on to the next topic in rapid fashion.

Fear, we, like you, were listening on the way home....they had two long black outs...after the first one, they cut away to a spot...which right away tells me the problem was in the remote hook up and not back at the station.The board up lost his line and went to commercial.I thought it was over then, but they went back to the Q with Frenchy and Dambrot.About 5 minutes later, they cut out again...long silence...the board op goes to commercial again...but instead of re-establishing contact with the Q, they just rejoined regular satellite programming.I'm not sure if they use a dedicated line...satellite, microwave or what.I know French and will e-mail him tomorrow....we'll see what really happened.
